    paging Tom Aiello

There is a base jumper from Russia in TF who needs a place to stay this evening. She is trying to get a hold of Tom Aiello and is currently on my other phone line. Tom, give me a call at 240-313-5270 ASAP. Or, if any of the other locals can help please call the same number......thanks.... -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake

    double from 300

D-dogs 1 1/2 from 240' get's my vote. The sound of tree limbs snapping with great force added to the visuals. -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake

    A M question

It sounds like the small dish my be the reason for the ac. If the towers are inactive there may be a lone tenant on there. Do a search on FCC's website. The FCC's website should show any permits to build, add on or destroy this site. If you dig deep enough you can find the answers. Find out who the owner is and call them. Feed them some bs about wanting to purchase the land or something. You should be able to find out all you need. Act stupid when you call, especially if you're talking to an engineer. They love to chat and show you how smart they are. They'll no doubt give up the skinny. BTW - You would have to experience some very high-power RF for a very long period at a very close distance for the metal parts on your rig to heat up. I think the warming effect is just the power of suggestion fuggin with most jumpers heads. -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake

  10. Another thread speaks of standing behind your mates. Well, I for one appreciate Micks persistence and therefore, Im signing off of DZ.com and the BASE Zone permanentlyIt's obvious from his hard work that he cares about giving us a home of our own. When I started base jumping 2 years ago, BLiNC was the central starting point for all my information gathering. It has an immense amount of knowledge from very experienced jumpers in the archives. A lot of whom are now dead, unfortunately. I like to honor these fallen souls by searching those archives and reading their words over and over so that I may never become too complacent or arrogant. I think if Mick had all of our support and we collectively coughed up a little monetary help, he would be able to give us the kind of site that we all want. BLiNC is also a place where one can go and pretty much spout out whatever you want without fear of censorship... or regular skydivers interjecting their opinions about something they dont' know about. Over there you can always just say "fug off and go back to dz.com" or something similar. The list goes on and on but I'm gonna stop here. The bottom line is that BLiNC is a site made by a base jumper for base jumpers and Mick needs our support. Thanks to the DZ.com staff for an awesome site but I'm outa here. I'm not boycotting dz.com, or encouraging others to, I'm just making a personal decision. See Ya'll at BLiNC. I go by Bryan over there, wich is simply my first name. ---get the donation button working Mick. -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake

  13. I have vented fox 285 w/ v-tech covers. Below 250 I've had great results. The wing is very consistent in the way it pressurizes and flies; including heading performance. It's also equiped with a multi. -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake
  14. Exactly! Might I add that we should be self regulating everywhere. No matter what your stature is in the world of the "easily impressed whuffo", you still bleed like the rest of us. Bleedin 'em out, will weed 'em out. Lot's of hard-heads out there. Just follow the simple fuggin rules people. I'm not saying you should go around beatin up (or trying to) all the people that break the rules, but at the very least a good tarin. The boys that took care of JV are, in my book, a shining light of base patriotism. JT's response in Tom's post reminds me of when one gets in trouble in high school and you try to grey-up all the facts with bullshit while trying to defer the blame to some inocent bystander(Don). You broke the rules; plain and simple. Be a man and tell us all to fuck off or appologize and admit your mistake. -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake

Well put! The psychiatrists / psychologists i've met are the craziest , weirdest fuckers I have ever seen. They're scary! I'd rather smack into another tower than have to hear one of those idiots ramble on and on and on and on.................... -Bryan I love base like a fat kid loves cake
