  1. so far the undercard only 1 good fight. I was disappointed in Kendall Grove. I thought he would dominate it, but just squeeked out a 29-28 decision.
  2. Don't listen to any of the others! I have a nice crisp $20.00 dollar bill in my hand. Let's talk about taking that gear off your hands! Trust me! Seriously, I went thru the almost the same thing, but i sold. you will kick yourself in the butt everytime you think about skydiving if you sell. That is coming from experience till i bought other equipment. DO NOT SELL!
  3. "Let's say I told you two years ago I ate a cookie and you don't believe me. How the hell are you going to prove I didn't? I might not have any proof I ate the cookie, but you sure as hell don't have any proof I didn't. Does that mean I'm a liar and need to stop telling my cookie story because I don't have proof? No. What it means is, if you want disprove my story, you're going to have to put up some actual evidence to the contrary, like show I was locked away with absolutely no access to cookies. " This is eactly what i was saying. thanks for helping explain it.
  4. Quade, what i was trying to demonstrate was show me one piece of evidence on anything in this case that can't be refutted? I won't go further, my point relates to what you said earlier, in my opinion all the evidence is just one person's point of view that once questioned doesn't hold up or is not backed by anything.
  5. I don't think Cooper ever existed. a made up person who evolved thru peoples heads of false information who continued to grow. a lot of psych experiments show this happens in situations. Think about that for a while. and another question: What the hell is a full grown midget(little person to be correct)???????
  6. At $25-30 bucks a jump nowadays, I am going to extend my airtime as much as possible. HA! It's a whole different world by yourself up there, a quiet you can't explain. So do you think Orange has bought one of those Damn World Cup horns? HA!
  7. as of this morning I have now completed my 4000 jump! 12K out of a grandcaravan ( no Jo that is not a minivan, it's an airplane ) pulled high and just floated and enjoyed the early morning, thought about my first jump, and paid a little tribute to friend who i have lost in the sport. So here is the question, we got Safecrackingplf hooked on the windtunnel, unfortunately, now we never hear from him again. I want to re challenge Sluggo and Georger to taste flight like we do. It will give your work a whole new prespective. come on everyone encourage these two to experience just once the feeling Cooper faced as he was under canopy minus the obstacles of course. come on Jerry get your Georger out the DDDDOOOOOOOOOORRRRRR!!!!!
  8. Congrats Sluggo! Don't let the FBI find those Danica Patrick race shirts in the back of your closet. You boys in GA don't mess around like that! HA! Hopefully it will keep you home on the 9 to 5 where you can post more info here and on your site as well. But on the flip side Sugar has had a LOT of time to hone that honey do list.
  9. 377, I know it was beat it to death earlier, but condisering 1971 equipment, the weather etc., what is your opinion of if Cooper had a hand held, how big of an area could he contact sombody. The only thing i know about this type of stuff os the walkie talkies i had as a kid sucked after i broke the antenas off. HA! ISeriously go to google earth and draw a circle from the LZ 65 miles as you picked up or knock it down to 20 miles and look where this covers. an accomplise is plauseable. And we have never really touched an accomplise on the ground. HHHMMMM?
  10. What ever happened with the lawsuit over Rod Tinney's accident? Is he still flying, and still have the 412???????
  11. WOW? This forum has now connected The MLK assination, the JFK assinationation, Bay of Pigs. We just have to figure out how 911, and lincoln assination plays into it and we get to direct NATIONAL TREASURE 3. What a way to start the day reading this. Hey Sluggo! NASCAR SUX! GO Indy Car! HA! I just wanted to see if you were alive and get a rise out of you. HA!
  12. you don't know till you ask for it. At this point these people are not your close friends you see everyday, so who gives a rats behind who it offends. If they want to tell you information they will, if not who cares if it opens up old wounds with them.unless you ask Jo they don't know you want to know a thing, or quiet honestly just plain and simply forgotten memories. If you say time is running out, the eligant term shit or get off the pot comes to mind.
  13. Quincy, Rantoul, Richmond, all the memories are just that memories now. The newbies can't even fathom what these were like. I wish Don would pull of a WFFC every 4 years. take the time to line up a mind blowing lineup of aircraft and competitions added. There is three facilities listed above open. I would love somewhere i could jump aircraft out of the norm.
  14. It's not my home DZ, but I second STARTSKYDIVING in ohio. They take time with students to teach not just put them thru. Great line up of aircraft, and staff. Yes they are in transition but still a nice facility with HUGE landing area. Now if John would buy the old amusement park 6 miles from the DZ and put in a Wind tunnel it would be the greatest! HA! Seriously, you will learn a lot from these guys!
  15. I know this has probably been talked about a million times, but i wanted to ask. Who held D1 license?
  16. Yes- Pi Kappa Alpha! To relate it to skydiving terms, you don't judge the sport based on the reports of a few bonehead DZ's or Skyride do you? This is the same way with Fraternities, yes there are some bonehead chapters in all fraternities, I was fortunate enough to belong to a chapter where hazing was not allowed, our GPA average was 3.1 (135 members) and we won almost all sporting, and academic events, the majority of the basketball players and some football players were members. You have to know the chapter just like you know a DZ going in, some you run from, some you Jump. Andrea, your opinion i think is based on what you read in newspapers, once again compare it to skydivng, what publicity do you see about our sport in the press, the bad! I chuckle at the drinking club analogy, what happens at the DZ at sundown everynight? Yes most fraternities have parties, we held parties in the early 90's that are still talked about, but we also knew how to balance it with high academic standards that if you didn't achieve you were not allowed to party. Like i have seen you give advice before on here to not judge the sport by what you read in the newspaper about one or two bonehead things by a DZ, please don't judge all fraternities by one or two rogue chapters. What school is your son attending? What fraternity is he looking at. Because of fraternal connections and friendships, I have friends that are VP's and high up at several Florida institutions, if you want the real scoop on that fraternity i can find out real quick for you. I will end with a funny saying i heard once, You don't call your country a CUNT, please don't call my Fraternity a FRAT! HA!
  17. Hey Jo, When you gonna send us all some tar balls from the beach?
  18. Hey Sluggo! The Indy 500 has just finished, I guess it's time to watch the b-team race, the Coca-Cola somthing-er other? HA! Happy Memorial Day all!
  19. I thought all the Aliens were in Arizona and that's why every one is mad at Arizona for trying to get rid of them?
  20. Georger Don't forget to add in the cloud cover that was suposed to be present during the time cooper jumped. I think its improbable of this report, or at least parts of it being true.
  21. Janet, who was in the passenger seat, looked up just as the car was backing out of the driveway and saw a light pass overhead. A platform or ladder below a plane caught her eye. WE CAN'T have it both ways! Which is it. Reports say the weather was shitty, clouds and Cooper could not see the ground except for breaks in the clouds here and there. Now this lady stated she could see the steps at 10-12K at night while setting in a Datson and see the flares leave the plane. I throw the BS flag, but the problem is which is truth and which is fiction???? HHHMMMM!!!??!?!?!? anyone concour????
  22. dominant thought- It's 8:30 a.m. and I can't get the thought of a giant stromboli with tons of cheese and sauce out of my head!!!!!! I guess what's for lunch is decided.
  23. Great question Georger! Bruce, can you ask him that, and if the military experience X stated is true. If it is does he know Braden or Waugh, heck for Jo, mention Weber and Collins too. one other stange question i would like you to ask, did he do any other flying around Portland/Seattle for anyone or any entitity? I have a reason for that question, Ill share later. 377, I think you have the manuals for the plane? Does it show this compartment, and if so how big is it? Will a man fit in it? I find it interesting that there is snipits of a lot of stories from so many different people that could weave together. Mafia-Jo mentioned it, this guy and a couple others, the military elite who could make the jump weaves a couple stories together, heck even the Kennedy names have came up a couple of times.
  24. that king air is like a bad penny. How many DZ's has that thing shown up in, if it is the same one i think it is.
  25. and i found 2 in northern Indiana, and one in OHIO. Sounds like Donald O. Burnworth is aboust as common as Bob Smith if i can find them. HA!
