Jamie, First off don't get discouraged with this forum. You have to understand this place. The real talent around here has left the building. You will see the names Sowman, and Georger, they got banned because of frustrations with people so hell bent their opinion was the only, right they won't listen to anyone elses thoughts. Sluggo and Safcrackingplf are great wealths of information check out Sluggo's real cooper site you can see a lot of information there. Both of these guys rarely post now because of what you are going thru now. These four have made probably 75% of the real information on this thread. 377, Amazon and Orange make up the logical thinking. They point out the BS and why, as well as providing common sense. Then you have the resident mouths, Blevins, Skyjack71, these two are sure they know who Cooper was. No matter if you post a picture of your father on the plane with Tina and Flo, they will fight it ademently you are wrong unless you are saying Cooper was Duane Weber or Kenneth Christianson. Read back thru the pages here it will become apparent quick. You will see the names Ckret or Larry Carr. He was the FBI agent in charge of the Cooper case who used to post her till outside sources brought it to the attention of his superiors. Jerry Thomas is a person who had dedicated his life to walking the woods under the flightpath to find Cooper, and is Skyjack71's arch nemesis. There are a few others that will add color comentary now and then as well. Then you have the head GURU, Quade. Don't mess with Quade, he is incharge of monitoring this circus to make sure it doesn't get out of hand too bad. He let's people go till it gets really bad then you go to the penelity box to think what you did and feel much shame! Anymore I mostly lurk because it is a lot of bickeringand BS. It's like watching the Jerry Springer Show that some people are trying to turn this into. I suggest you start back thru both this thread and the old thread. I have a question. I can not get a straight answer so a very simple one or two sentence answer would be great. Was there other air traffic in the pattern besides the NWA flight? If no then how long before and after was it cleared? I ask this with all these claims of sightings of "the Plane". If there was other planes how do yu tell what plane you saw. I know I can't look up at the sky and see a plane and say there goes NWA flight 123 bound for Moosejaw Sakatchawan. If sombody can answer that would be great.

Robert, Maybe i am not getting what you are asking? What are all these people going to attest to? That the canopy found at Amboy is of the Cooper ERA ? We can know that from the serial information stamped on it. You keep mentioning NB-6. that in not the canopy. that is the rig. The AMBOY find was a canopy ONLY no rig. Nobody but Cossey had/has direct knowledge of the canopy in the reserve( it is not a chute it is a canopy) and i question his knowledge of what really was there after all these years. The question I have for you is what are the odds of finding a 2ft by 2 ft GREEN colored reserve in the woods SOMWHERE along the flight path and even worse now post MT ST. Helens. The odds of that are slime to noe and slim just left.

There is a difference in question somthing and "calling sombody out". and the way i see it you get off on "calling sombody out". Where i come from and was raised that is called being rude. Dumb question- has it ever been identified what was in the Reserve that was sewn shut by Cossey and used as a trainer? Could that have been the Amboy canopy? After landing Cooper used the reserve pack to carry the money out thus dumping the canopy that was in it. I wonder if Cossey would talk about that?

Yes, i still jump. Ask some of the old timers around Spaceland about Richmond or the WFFC. You will then understand. Hell ask DJ if he is still there he can tell you. You haven't experience anything close to these two events were in terms of quality of jumping, people and parties.

There are so many jumpers that answered questions just after this that you cant name them all. Hell, almost all the older DZO-dropzone owner's probably answered qestions several times ablut what they knew. Names like Jim West, Jim Hooper, Roger Nelson, Larry Hill, Ralph Hartley and the list could go on and on and on that were questioned from just inside the sport. I would love to hear sombody like Jim West weigh in on his opinion of this mess and tell some stories about it.
