Peej is correct, we do not require you to do a S/L jump before AFF! We hold the course every Saturday at JSC and AFF level 1 is booked for Sunday morning. An AFF student does have the option of doing an S/L jump should they wish too! Thanks guys!!! Yes I was lucky my gear wasn't in it would have been ready to commit murder if it was!!!! Well lets see, what happens! Will need to buy a more reliable car, my classic had a habit of breaking down just outside of Soweto! Blue skies to you all!!!

So it is 05:15 am on a warm Afrcan Saturday, I am rushing to get my gear together so that I can leave for the drop zone in 5 minutes time.... All my gear at the door, run out side to pull my beautiful 1976 Classic Beetle closer so I can load her and my car is GONE!!!! Yip she was stolen sometime between 22:00 Friday night and 05:15 Saturday morning .... some bastard / s stole my car!!!! She would have been paid off by October this year which would have meant some extra cash for my daughter and I. So now I wait to hear if my insurance company is going to screw me over, I have to take a weekend off to go find some damned new car and finance it for another 5 years *sob sob* I guess we should count ourselves lucky that we were not in the car, people have been killed for less! Hey guys, Just a small thanks for all the well wishes, emails, pm's and of course my special phone call all the way from the Swiss Alps!!! OMFG!!! The footage is brilliant! But wow they are all very very lucky!! I had a pre mature deployment inside a pilatus porter on my 100th jump, I was very lucky that the canopy missed the tail and that the pilot chute cleared the BOC. I did check my pin right before I slid down the seat cause I was shy about being naked! A stupid mistake that could have killed the pilot & I. I learnt my lesson well, always check your pin and dont jump naked hee hee!
