Kingairs are fine for wingsuit if you keep things tucked for a few after exit.With low wings,the air off the wing creates lift toward tail,have several hunded sky surf jumps out of kingairs and you just need present to realative wind abit less aggressive. the exit in post,I was holding a floater bar with one hand and flying suit next to plane,not for faint of heart as learning curve left some bruises from early attempts,not to mention a bit of paint!!With otter and caravans you just let go and you are right there!!makes great vid!!!!some aircraft have floater bars back further and can be interesting as you kinda have to hop and grab to get there,for if your wing inflates.... you exit early!!! As some of you have seen,I have a bit different exit when shooting vid on jumps, I climb out to camera step,otters,caravans,porters,MI8,hold the floater bar,lock my elbo against airframe and inflate my suit.This allows me to fly vertical and level with aircraft to film exits.I just let go and start to fly.DO NOT try this with low wing aircraft!!!!!!the air coming off the low wing as well as propblast create lift and put you very close the tail.... HMM!! Lets say in THEORY...one was to exit one aircraft with another ahead and say...1000ft below,let aircraft # 2 begin a decent rate that was in wingsuit flying range... Some have told storys of flying cessana in above configuration and doing like major flybys with a short hang out right off the wingtip of the aircraft...Beware of dirty air spilling off wing tip as it can really mess with your inboard wing,causing one to spin toward aircraft!! Caravans,skyvans,porters,and otters can all fly realative to you if you pick a flightpath and let them come to you,but then??? could this ever happen... Weights????instead of loading the wingsuit pilot with lead....mabe reduce wing???I dont weight much and after a few thousand flights,NEVER would think lead...Why not adjust the suit to fit the need?Are all crw canopies the same size?As we develop skills,we must apply our flying relative to others..unfortunatly we jump in smaller groups or solo alot and when we need to adjust,fly smooth with others,it can be trying to say the least!!! Has anyone strapped on some lead to see what happens?? Mabe some small change in flight characteristic because of different airflow over the body? When we all jump different suits,some will out fly others,some out float,ect...mabe put the v1 away and go back to a gti or if they fall that fast, use a tracken suit!!!Adjust your suit fly what the fallrate and your skill level allows Only he can be happy,who can make his the present hour,for today he has lived

HMMM!!!!After jumping the Prodigy this weekend,1 jump due to weather,seems my neptune logged 163 seconds from 14000 ft.It has power in the legs,plenty on float,at least i was very surprised right out the door.Very stable,practice touch was right on,and it just kept on flying... will wear it out later in the week and for those who care to try one....I will be in Deland next weekend june 4th and 5th so come on and give one a shot,have a small a med. and a large. Its all about getting FLAT!!!!!!Chuck is so right, the suit can make up for certain body types, but its all in how we fly!!!! BJAlexander has made a suit from scatch at seems to be flying very well!!!! That is the proto type that I know will be there!! Remember when we flock its all about flying relative and rock steady!!! If egos abound and everybody starts showing the ass or lack of judgement in larger groups, it gets pretty scary when people start zoomen all over!!! There will neptunes around to tell us how slow how long we hang and lets keep the distance limited to a few at a time so someone doesnt dump as we overtake em.... we need to fly soon Chuck havent jumped with ya since last bigways, fly baby fly!!!!!
