well, looks like this weekend he will be here! I'e had two Tony suits since I started jumping, a swoop suit, and a regular "tony suit" and I loved them both. Good quality etc etc, fit really good , just make sure you get measured properly eg (I left room in both for some winter insulation) thier delivery time was good, they did "lose" my rush order on the second suit, but I was refunded te 40, and the suit still go thier in 6 weeks or so -kewl suits .....there is no spoon -------------------- Another place to play

HAns and Bill Scott were my JM's level 1 AFF, and Hans was my level 5 JM as well -lol SKYDIVE MONROE will be having thier spring casa boogie in may, here are the only details I have right now, got emailed to me the other day, I'l have em up on the website during the next update: May 17-19th Roger Ponce and Scott Franklin will be organizing and there will be free fly coaches available....... hopefully they will be sending me more info soon, last year they had icarus & the great folks from Sunpath out, RAT from icarus had demo birdmans etc, but not sure if Bill will do the same this year, will have to wait and ans see. Everyone needs help sometimes, some worse than others. I sure wish I was in a better position to help people, the only thing I have to offer people are the skills I have. need a website? need your car worked on? need some meat processed? lol I will pack your rig too-lol the part the bothers me here is that the folks needeing help (openly anyhow) are the ones used to giving it! sky -MEDIC - nuff said lol- and everyone knows how giving AirAnn is. It's my opinion that everyone needs help sometimes, and we cannot survive alone on this planet, we are only here for a short time, and it's up to US to see that life is the best it can be for ourselves, and our fellow earth earth dwellers-lol It;s hard for folks to ask for help, but if ya think about it ya get it everyday, stuff comes in a box for our convenience , eg we didnt have to make it ourselves- thats help in a way. Can you imagine if companies didnt make some of the things we take for granted and it was up to US to make it for ourselves? (toilet paper?) anyhow, to cut it short, in SOME situations i belive not asking for help is appropriate, but on the other hand, in more extreme situations, not asking for help is kinda selling yourself short....... hey lets smile - there are blue skies up there for us all to flail through someday.....some of us just have climb a higher mountain, but eveyone gets to climb one with ya;) .....there is no spoon -------------------- Another place to play

well, today in my computer architecture class we were whippin out the multimeters measuring various voltages etc from the power supply to various components of a computer. The thing that sparked my "bright" idea was the fact that the highest voltage encountered was 12 V, lowest we got to anyway was 3 V. Anyhow a brief background on me to make ths make sense.... I was a GM auto mechanic for about 4 years (anyone got any spare tools;0-lol) and studied modern electrical components extensively, (maybe why I drove a 69 bug for damn near 10 years) Anyhow, 12V the highest in the computer, for fans etc, and other lower voltages....... I think that using various methods(resistance, temerature coefficient type "breakers" etc I could make a computer run from a car battery-lol now this is just a theory-lol I'm not sure if I'll need to vary voltages "on the fly" like auto "modules" do, but I'm sure its a consideration to think about. what do ya think?-lol the instructor of the class will give us an automatic 100 avaerage if we are A+ certified by the end of the quarter, I wonder what we could get for running computers from car batteries-lol. .....there is no spoon -------------------- Another place to play
