  1. HYGIENE!!!!!!! I want to change my answer, the #1 thing is good Hygiene. Srsly, Ladies, take care of yourselves, m'kay? =========Shaun ==========
  2. Yeah, I vote confidence as the #1 trait for a good girl in bed. I mean, without it, they're afraid to try new things, afraid to take something in a direction they want, afraid to leave their comfort zone, and afraid to do let things take care of themselves. =========Shaun ==========
  3. I harp on this plenty, as I assume a lot of folks do, but I have yet to see a pair of Type-17 risers is reasonable condition. Risers are not lifetime investments, although some folks think they are... =========Shaun ==========
  4. AH good catch ~ I read about that, but GQ was the first that popped into my head, just because around here we have an aerobatic club with folks that keep getting these "Great" deals on GQ rigs from the 70s. I'll tell you what man, there are folks out there that will buy/sell any damn thing. =========Shaun ==========
  5. It was GQ Security. I have a collection of those retired rigs I've inherrited ~ still good for teaching folks how to pack rounds. I disagree. I'm not thrilled with JS's point of view either, but that is another story. =========Shaun ==========
  6. Man, I threw out a hypothetical and you're response was demeaning and hostile. My point is, more or less, that JS is staying more or less quit on this matter. edited to add: Oh wait, you were replying to Onlyski. Sry. =========Shaun ==========
  7. +1. Could be acute as well, but we'd have to measure the angle.
  8. Man, this whole thing keeps getting weirder and weirder. Thing #1: I'm still waiting on a repalcement cutter I sent in Last August. Thing #2: Soooo, I jump racers, and I have Argii in my rigs. Jumpshack isn't saying anything, but on this rig, "below the Pilot Chute" is actually "above" the Pilot chute in the sense that a malfunctioning cutter can trap the loop in. How about this: I'm my own rigger, can I make my own decisions? =========Shaun ==========
  9. Wouldn't miss it for the world! Last year I showed up at 10AM and took a leisure pace, and still managed to eek out 13 jumps.... =========Shaun ==========
  10. I have this burning desire now to stick a Steel ripcord cable in an expired cypres unit and fire it off. =========Shaun ==========
  11. =========Shaun ==========
  12. So, does anybody have any new news from Aviacom? Are they trying to resolve this issue with their cutters and with manufacturers, or are they just going to lay bely up? =========Shaun ==========
  13. Hmmm, I didn't know how to consider Reflex and Eclipse, since the TSO's are intact but the companies are no more. Rigs that still allow Argus Jumpshack Racer Strong Enterprises Quasar II Sunrise Manufacturing Wings Altico Dolphin Flightline Reflex Eclipse =========Shaun ==========
  14. After reading both threads regarding this Karnage Krew ~ serious legal action NEEDS to be taken ASAP. I'm seeing tens of thousands of US dollars here in stolen money... =========Shaun ==========
  15. Ah, good catch, I didn't read that far into that particular SB. Lets see, so the Manufacturers that are still approving the Argus are.... Rigs that still allow Argus Jumpshack Racer Sunrise Manufacturing Wings Altico Dolphin =========Shaun ==========

    Hot knife

    Well, you have 2 choices. Choice #1 is to buy a hot knife from Paragear for like $140. Option 2 is to buy a soldering Iron from Hobby Lobby, then buy a hotknif tip from the same store, sold is the wood etching isle. Total Cost: $20. =========Shaun ==========
  18. Racers arn't Ugly. They are my faaaaavorite rig. =========Shaun ==========
  19. Wow ~ thank you both for those detailed answers ~ like I said, I really respected the Eclipse family of HC system ~ they seemed to be pretty well designed and thought out, compared to other rigs of that generation. The Reflex too was a sad casualty ~ I am not a fan of the 1-pin pop top (I like 2 pins..) but the actual manufacturing quality of the reflex was superb. =========Shaun ==========
  20. Two words. Bad. Ass. =========Shaun ==========
  21. I don't know man ~ I see your logic, but regardless, using a cutter that long after a recall was issued is sketchy business. Personally, I wouldn't have packed that. Cutters are hard to come by, you are right. =========Shaun ==========
  22. Altico too?!?!? =========Shaun ==========
  23. Look like DOM for the Cutter was 2005 (did I read that correctly?) Why was this cutter not replaced with Service bulletin AMMO-XXX would be the first question I would ask. =========Shaun ==========
  24. Ha, I wish. I wouldn't know what to do with a Parachute Company. It's interesting though that it would cost him more than, what, $10,000 to make a rig? WIthout a production system of sorts, they probably have to piece it together manually. =========Shaun ==========
  25. Oh yeah, well....... -1 to you too! I mean, c'mon, that's like a base assumption that really doesn't need to be brought back up every post. =========Shaun ==========
