  1. T'would seem this article's author lives in a fantasy world. I didn't see a landslide election by any means. In the wake of one of the most unpopular Presidents in history in an economic downturn with a gifted orator as a candidate, a 70+ year old man as an opponent, and the majority of the media BLATANTLY biased in the Dem's favor, they couldn't pull out a landslide. Battle of the brains lost? Only in the author's dreams. Anybody who considers size of government irrelevant should retake grade school math. 2. I've been a bit silent of late, party out of contempt for the current state of politics, partly out of being busy, and partly because I'm not in the mood. I have to say this about President Obama - when his nominee came under fire (talking about former Senator Tom Daschle here) and his nomination was withdrawn, the President didn't pass the buck. He said 'I screwed up'. Like the man's politics or not, you have to respect that. He took responsibility, even if it was the fault of Daschle and/or presidential staff failing in their own vetting process and not himself. He said, basically, 'I'm the leader. It's my fault.' I like that in a leader. Personally, even if Daschle DID screw up his taxes, he might have been the best person for the job that the Dems could field. I detest the man's politics and disagreed with the majority of his votes in the Senate, but if he's was the best they could field then once again the zero-defect mentality has deprived the nation of a good servant. I'm happy to see borking is not occurring, but if a Republican President's nominees had similar transgressions on their record everyone with a three digit IQ KNOWS how the MSM would have reacted to the President and his nominee. Just so people don't think I've lost my mind, let me reiterate here: I hate TARP, I hate the auto-bailout, I detest FUCKTARD PIECES OF SHIT who support card check, and sure as HELL don't support the moronic government enlargement/spending package some deceitful people refer to as the stimulus bill. Just wanted to make a positive observation about our President, even though I didn't vote for the man. Tequila,
  3. I could care less if the man smoked or smokes weed. That's his business. He's still one of the most fantastic athletes to ever compete in the Olympics. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  4. And cost of tax preparation and avoidance is a cost US corporations must incur - a cost their competitors overseas do not. Add into that the draconian SOX requirements - and its not-inconsequential cost of accounting - in addition to the fact that unlike other major industrialized nations, US corporations have to pay taxes on profits earned abroad, and you have a palpable downside of being an American based multi-national corporation. The currently proposed government enlargement/spending package will do little to stimulate the economy - if anything. It's merely an amalgamation of pork and efforts the Dems have wanted funded over the last decade and failed to get through, being presented under the guise of a stimulus bill. I pray for its defeat - it's bad for America. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  5. Happy Birthday, Mark! Tequila shooters to you!
  6. In 2001 I was getting 200-300 Zim $ to the US$. What a worthless currency. A fantastic country ruined by a racist sonofabitch. What a worthless fuck. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  8. What a nice fantasy world in which you live. At least you've admitted that you support racial discrimination. What a standout you are! Those AA supporters that can't, as I've often stated, are nothing but cowards. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  9. Odd. I can't find race and sex keeping people down where I work. Perhaps you could elaborate on that a bit. Perhaps it's because I don't care what color or sex anyone is when it comes to work. Then again, I suppose you HAVE to care about race and sex if you use them as discriminators, as you've admitted you do. That's so nice you admit what you support. I really think it just dandy. 10. By not giving a rat's ass about another person's race/sex (with the obvious non-platonic exception) I'm already there. Catch up whenever you like! You'll have to end your support of racial discrimination in order to get here, though. Congrats again. Many accolades and kudos to you for stating what you support. 11. Hmmm...well, I really expected no less. In a way it's nice to see how many people are following politics now! Now if they'd all just get a clue... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  12. I deny nothing. I face facts quite easily. The fact that you support racial and sexual discrimination under the guise of affirmative action and I do not is quite simple to comprehend. Facing the fact that all choices with regard to gender are not made because of gender is another simple thing that you've clearly decided not to face. Where is thy courage, woman? You had so much of it when you admitted what you support! On that note, again, I congratulate you on admitting what you support! So many of your fellow AA supporters are such cowards. Simple questions such as 'can you give me a reason I should support racial discrimination?' leave them running with their tails between their legs because they're too cowardly to admit to themselves that they're racially prejudiced! In contrast, you came out and admitted you support discrimination. A standout you are! Few AA supporters can do so, and you have proven yourself one of them.
  13. I face the truth quite well. You support racial discrimination. I do not. Again - congratulations on admitting that which you support! You are a true standout on the left. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  14. You never asked the question, merely blurted out survey results statistically broken down and touted them as proof. If you've proof of discriminaton, by all means bring it forth. I can give some examples I've seen. If it's the end of the month and a recruiter needs to get a recruit to training, sometimes the sex of the recruit determines if they ship that month or the next. Capacity of the system to hold that many males or females, you see. Recruiters used to get points for recruiting minorities - incentivized rewards based on race. Hmmm...at one time capacity for certain schools would increase for the right race - despicable practice; not sure if it still goes on as I haven't been around recruiting since 2001 and will never go there again. Capacity forces some discrimination on the entry system in that manner; despicable policy - brought on by AA supporters - in others. Your insane accusations of widespread discrimination are untrue, unfounded, and way out in left field. As a standout among affirmative action supporters - you're one of the few who admit you support racial discrimination; I am so proud of you for admitting it - you should strive to improve in that realm. 15. You apparently don't know many Naval officers - and certainly not as many as I do. Your own innate prejudices shine through once more. But prejudice is the modus operandus of racial discrimination supporters, such as yourself! WRT my own political leanings - another topic change because you don't want to discuss the bias of your beloved media - as I've stated many times before: - I support legalization of drugs - I do not support a ban on early term abortions, though I disagree with them - I do not support State or Federal ammendments against gay marriage - I did not support the end of 'double taxation' on corporate profits Among many other things, the above don't do much to ingratiate me with Republicans. If you were up to facing facts, you'd realize that. I take it you're reveling in my compliments - and I do compliment you - on your admission of supporting racial discrimination. What a fine standout you are amongst your fellow affirmative action supporters! You really should get a firmer grasp on economics. The Economist and the WSJ are excellent reading. A most worthwhile investment. Your hero, BHO, is on the cover of the latest issue. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  16. Cancer really sucks. Thoughts for you and yours. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  17. You were speaking of facts...you posted a power point that did a statistical breakdown of responses to a survey with a 24% response rate. If mere accusation is your burden of proof, then I accuse you of being a Republican and having voted for Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, Dole, and Bush again. Since I just proved - under your standard of evidence - that you're a Rush Limbaugh loving right winger, may we expect to see the bumper sticker on your vehicle tomorrow? LMFAO. Congratulations again on admitting your support of racial discrimination. You are indeed a standout among your cohorts. 18. I was hoping for a full pardon. This is good news though - and far, far overdue. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  19. I am not a Tailhook member and wouldn't know anything about them. Haven't heard a peep about them since '91-'92ish I'd say - right when they had their big scandal, whenever that was. Over 15 years ago. I could care less what anybody in any of my wardrooms looked like - and none looked like me. There were minorities in all of them. And women as well. Your bullshit insinuations and projections just don't work on me. Going to have to try to face facts...but that's just not a fun thing for you, apparently. But, one can't deny that you've admitted your support of racial discrimination. Standout you are. So many of your fellow left wingers are cowards who can't state that which they support. That's one fact you've faced well. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  20. I think the coverage is quite telling already. I'm not sure from whence cometh your data about AP's #'s being either false or inflated. Even if they are, the tone of the coverage is far, far different. Reporting on the LACK of borking is non-existent that I've seen. Media attacks on BHO's nominees have been non-existent as well. Compared with GWB's nominees and inauguration, the bias is quite, quite clear. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  21. More projection! What a fantastic defense mechanism you've developed! Now it's gone from race to sex! Amazing! And no answers to any query with regard to the media! How nice. FYI - I don't care what race or sex anyone is for purposes of employment, platonic friendship, government service, collegiate admission, or pretty much any other issue where it might be used as a discriminator. For non-Platonic friendships I do care what sex a person is but race is non-sequitur. Because of those beliefs, I do not support racial or sexual discrimination under any guise - call it affirmative action or call it whatever - as a method for curing perceived or actual social problems. Deal with it however you like. Discrimination begets discrimination begets discrimination. And YOU support discrimination - not I. Project as you will, facts are stubborn things. And facts they do remain. Now...are you EVER going to answer queries about the media? Or keep running? Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  22. I read a couple of stories on the cost as well. The difference between GWB's and BHO's is the blatant contempt and ridicule of the former. Media were on GWB like a hawk on its prey. They were prodded by bloggers and Fox into reporting on BHO's costs. I think the compare and contrast between transitions and the coverage of both will be quite telling. Massive borking campaign for GWB's nominees vs those of BHO, for example. Media won't be screaming about BHO not listening to those who disagree with him when he makes a decision that pisses off conservatives, rest assured. I'm really glad to see that borking hasn't occurred yet and hope it does not. I always thought it bad for the country and the zero-defect mentality for public servants to be goat-fuck stupid. The lies the cowards told about Bork were disgusting and cast a pallor over the nomination process that has pervaded it ever since - except for nominees of Democrats, as a general rule. A few Democrat nominees have been held up - but not by lies; some of them deserved to be held up/defeated, and others not. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  23. More projection! Dr. Phil? Dr. Phil anyone? I'm very proud of you for admitting you support racial discrimination. Very nice - you're a standout. Get a sticky star and wear it on your lapel with pride. I thought the next step for you would be to face the facts about the media, but this insane attempt at projection leads me to believe the next step lies up another path. Now you need to learn that people who don't support racial discrimination don't really give any credibility to those that do when speaking on civil rights. That's the next step, I believe. Good luck! You've taken an important first step - admitting that you support racial discrimination. There's nothing stopping you from taking another. You might even try think along the lines of media and its bias as well! Wouldn't that be great? Work hard. Soon it will come to you... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  24. Again no answers! Amazing! The Economist, BBC and the WSJ are my main sources of news, BTW. I'm still proud of your admission that you support racial discrimination. It's a start...now if you'd face the music about the media next... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
