Hevent been to the US in a long time but if you really want security at airports come to Israel. also our airline El Al has alot of security. so the way I see it every where else ther is a lack of security. Yes A few years back my brother got lost in the jungels of peru and at the same time my mom woke up and know something happend to him. (we live in Israel it's more than 2000 miles). after 5 hours my brother and the ppl he was with were found. I was walking my dog and I know something was worong with my brother (we need to do something with him he always gets into troble). he was in a training accident and got a concation. After 2 years in the sport it still takes me a wile to fall asleep the night before and the 1st thing I do when I get to the DZ is to pee. I am about to buy a rig that has a PD 9 cell. my weight is 150 with gear and the size of the main is 190. The statistics on the PD web site say that I am in the correct range to fly this canopy. The main instructor on my DZ said that althow it is a big canopy it will fit me fine. I am asking ur opinion because a few ppl told me that the canopy is to big for me and I should look for something else. so what do you guys think? until now I jumped rented gear, the size range was 230-280 (navigator). I have sended L&B an e-mail if they could send me some stikers for my helmet. The next they asked for my address and 3 days later it was in my mail box (I live in Israel) with spaer batteris. I pulled my researve on my 25th jump, I jumped a rented gear. when I landed the regear and DZO asked what hapend and that it. I did not have to pay for the repack. All the parts where found (it toke a few hours to find the main). but any way my DZ does not charge the renter if something get lost or damaged dou to a mal. on a regular jump if you lose the rip cord you do have to pay. On the other DZ in Israel you sign that if you lose something or cypress fires you do have to pay. I saw a movie (I dont know when and where) that the pilot shute got around the TM neck and he passed out. The camera man was able to get it lose and under canopy the TM got aound the rest of the story I dont know. I saw it before I strated jumping so there are a few things that I might not noticed. I think it should be, you can never know what will hapen in freefall. Here in Israel it is mandatory, we were the first country that aad's became mandatory by law.
