  1. I have had the same nylon screw for 4 yrs, 300+ jumps never had a problem with movment or breakage
  2. You can hook a sony camera up to the VHS and record to mini dv then feed it into your computer the quality is that of the orig VHS but you can edit it the end product is vhs quality. Matt(-:
  3. Is the PC 120 PALS or NTSC and what are you playing it back on...That is if the head cleaner is a super duper head cleaner, that is rated for sky diving purposes only, other head cleaners will not fly right with the parachute open
  4. My friend and some of the guys at our dropzone mounted their bullet cam on the side of their helmet with velcro holds great and lets them reposition the camera on the fly, the velcro was rated for 200mph and I have yet to see it come loose in free fall. They have also re wired the camera to the cameye so the cam eye can be placed in the helmet with only one wire coming from the helmet. They both got the case from helmetcam to protect the camera. The only down side to the z-1 is the vizor can come into view in the up position. I am mounting mine to a open face to fix that problem. Matt(-:
  5. I just got a mac (g4 powerbook) last month, as my PC is bogged down with porn and adware (Just kidding about the ad ware) I have had great success with it mixing videos for tandems and burning photo CD onsite at the DZ. It integrates it's software very well and I have had virtually no major problems. HEY AND THE KEY BOARD LIGHTS UP IN THE DARK!!!!!! I am happy I got it, I believe a comparable PC used only for video would do a good job as well.
  6. How much does the setup weigh??? what video camera did you mount???? Matt(-:
  7. FIRST GET A WHOLE LOT MORE JUMPS BEFORE ADDING ANYTHING TO THE MIX!!!!!!! I just got one for xmas and it comes with the mic, the resolution is fine the stock lens is pretty wide, addtional lens are like 14 a piece if you were going to use it for fun, maybe tandems definitly great fro coaching aff, I have a friend using a similar camera with a great setup on a z-1 that he has been using for tandems for about a year no problems. Cato uses a bullet cam with a very low snag setup. If your not going to become a professional skydiving photographer it is a great low risk solution. I like mine(-:
  8. I have a count down I can email you Matt
  9. I am going to mount a pc 120 which till now has been a side mount and I just got a dig rebel which I am going to topmount plan to do tandems and work more freeflying with the ftn I plan to top and front mount the cameras, I just haven't got to try on a ftn or the ff2 for that matter so I was looking for options on comfort easy of use, etc.
  10. upgrading from bone head optic, want to use for work and fun
