I have to assume that this came from Cori.Man I tried to tell you that moving back up north just to get an education was not a good idea.Yeah the RoamingDZ will be at The Atlanta Free Fly Festival.Maybe we will have shirts by then.I have to get busy on the calander there is alot going on the next two months.The Mountain Boogie is going to be the weekend of the 16th of October.Trey is bringing Skydive Atlantas Super Kingair up to Blairsville,Ga for me.

Starting to recover from a great weekend.Thanks to everyone for coming and I hope it was worth your effort to be there.I special thanks to the Eglin Yacht Club for their hospitality on the beach after the jumping was done.Look for info on beach jumps in September here or on RoamingDZ.com.We will plan on cooking on the beach after jumping next time.

Let me start with my understanding of what happened.I was told that the owner of Skydive Tallahassee is upset with him for organizing a trip to another dz for the weekend.This is what I am stating my comments on. I have been organizing events for acouple of years that at times take people away from the DZ.The reason for this is to get together with old friends and make new ones.Why do it off the DZ you ask???It is because of crap like this that makes some people not want to go here or there.In the process we have made new friends at new dz's and then we go to visit our new friends at their dz.Just to clarify how this all works in the long run what goes around comes around.You might miss a few jumpers one weekend and gain a few on another.Well......unless you make everyone mad for some reason and everyone decides they would rather be somewhere else with their friends. I heard nothing but good things about the DZ in Tallahassee from the group that came up to The Farm on the 14th.But from the looks of it I would not be welcome there either as I am guilty on the same thing Lee is. I have not heard back from Lake Wales yet.I'm sure they have their hand full down there right now.

I'll make some phone calls this morning to see how they feel about this.I'm thinking a RoamingDZ style BBQ as a fund raiser.Save your money folks I'm sure they can have the lift power there.

I give Chris Whitley full credit for this idea. RoamingDZ.com was planning beach jumps the end of this month but I thought this was a much better idea.How about as soon as they are able to start flying loads we all decend on The Fla. Skydiving Center for a Screw Charlie Boogie.I'm they could get a few extra planes from Paul down there to fly all that would come.

Hey,Just got word that there is a group coming up from Tallahassee this weekend.Looks like there will be a pretty good crowd at The Farm this weekend.I know Chiquita is planning some Jello shooters.Someone please limit my intake.I always do ok till we start trying to get rid od the leftovers.I'm going to try to be there Fri. afternoon with the RoamingDZ camper/bar.I do acceopt donations to the alcohol fund.See you all at The Farm.

RoamingDZ.com is organizing beach jumps in Destin,Fla. I agree with you Jeff.If you are telling people about an event you are doing it to get people to come.Not to say hey look at what we are doing an we don't want you here.Just about everything posted here is advertising in some form.I don't see a difference in who is telling you about something a DZO or a jumper and I don't think you can regulate this.My message board on RoamingDZ.com was set up just for the purpose of spreading the word of what is going on in the Southeast.But....Opps....I guess that would be advertising and should be deleted

I don't land on my feet, but that doesn't mean i'm a bad canopy pilot. I just need to take a canopy course to help get me over my fear of landing on my feet. You should look at my spinal xrays.That will get you over the fear of landing on your feet. Chris
