Funny story.I told Doug this and he found it funny so I am going to tell it here. After all the excitement the city manager had to go to a meeting Sat. evening.The sheriff of Andrews came up to him and said,"I hate to hear about that guys parachute not opening and him getting killed like that."Isn't it funny how the stories change as they travel.

Well as this thread slips into the depths of the forum I hope everyone can take with them some great memories of The Mountain Boogie.Even thought the weather gave us a bit of a challenge I still had a truely great time and it was good to see everyone.Great skydives,no "serious"injuries,and nobody went to jail.All in all a great time.I hope everyone will post some pics. from the weekend,both on the ground and in the air some people can share the view that we had skydiving in the mountains.It was a very unique experience for me. Last I want to thank everyone for coming out to support the RoamingDZ and those that helped out in various ways.You all are the reason that these things happen.

Me too.Loosing weight is expensive.You have to go buy a new canopy to keep your loading the same.Then the damn new canopy is too small for your old container so you have to get a new one.Then your wife,the one your trying to impress gets pissed off cause you spent all this money on new gear and divorces you and takes half your shit.Now you have to pay child support till the damn kids are 18 and live in a camper.No way I'm going to the gym.

I route above is very curvey and should not be taken with a camper or RV.The other way to go is posted on RoamingDZ.com but what the hell. I-75 to 575. 575 turns into 515.Just past Blueridge turn left on highway 60.go about 2 mi. turn right on spur 60.Go about 12 mi. take a right on 74.This will take you through Murphy and into Andrews.You will see a sign for the airport.If you come to a traffic light in Andrews you missed the turn.Turn left at the light and that will take you back to the airport.
