Stickers in the inside of airplanes?
strife replied to CC_Shenanigans's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I thought the stickers formed a structural part of the air frame. -
How do I tell my mom that I enjoy jumping out of planes?
strife replied to rsb5267's topic in General Skydiving Discussions

Demerit points and fines coming to an Australian DZ near you
strife replied to hollyrose's topic in Safety and Training
I agree to me the carrot is jumping and the stick is grounding. A structured consistant educate warning then grounding program should be enough to correct the behaviour instead of a complex demerit system fine system. -
I was able to buy mine via UPT they have been awesome.

thanks I will buzz them a un email

Thanks, I think this was similar to what Velocity used to use but might be prone to surface rust one of the reasons I think they moved to the black stainless.
-

Hi Chaps, you can buy shares now you just got to pay for them there IPO has gone very well from there initial offer of .20c to now .37c. they are listed as IDZ. http://www.asx.com.au/asx/research/companyInfo.do?by=asxCode&asxCode=IDZ gone to be great having one reasonably local and another way to keep us broke.

Bought my first rig :D. Any thoughts?
strife replied to FastRodriguez's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
sweet rig, write down all your serials, check your insurance, read your manuals :) Looks awesome. -
Fairly similar to me, except for I was the original owner Viso2 but given I stuffed it I brought a new. I read reports here that more than likely that they would replace, but I just took some personal responsibility. Not sure how you write of L&B products because its to old to repair. I think the lesson about second hand electronics though may be a good one.

if this is a trolling thread thanks erdnarob for that post, im keeping that one.

Its kind of like Washington DC, they built Canberra, the capital of Australia because they couldnt agree if Sydney or Melbourne should be the capital.

"seller" does not want to refund my money
strife replied to jkdrummerboyee's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
send a note to admin and ask for a copy of it may still exist on the forum. -
doesnt feel that way here in oz, in my case it was well covered off in ground school, we where also given a conversion sheet and the wingload \ downsize guide. Also well covered in canopy courses etc. I think we are generally ok with the metic \ imperial conversions being taught at school, I assume the teach the reverse in the US ?

separate from OP. One of the chaps at the DZ had his gear ripped off from his car in his , he thought he wasnt initially covered by his home insurance but turns out his policy covered it as his car was in the drive way. Bonus turns out it was also new for old policy. So worked out ok in the end.
