I vaguely recall a story some years ago about a dude who would create artificial traffic jams with a cart full of like 50 smartphones that he'd slowly wheel along the sidewalk and mess up Google's local data. I think it was some sort of performative protest or awareness building thing about big tech? Still fascinating.

Sorry, I was trying to be flippant, and I apologize that it came off wrong. The decision on the blocking is way above my pay grade. I see the direct blocking as valuable; yes, people who don't block sorta-trolls do start long back-and-forths. I really don't see anyone here as a pure troll, but some definitely go through trolling phases.

Perhaps some don't recognize that "Sealioning" is indeed trolling, even if it is somewhat subtle:

Completely off topic. When did you get the green god powers? Congratulations or commiserations :)

I saw something the other day that talked about the first Black woman on a Presidential ticket.  I must have missed how India and Jamaica combined to make Africa.  Those tectonic plates sure do move fast.

Jamaica's diverse ethnic roots is reflected in the national motto 'Out of Many One People'. Most of the population of 2,812,000 (July 2018 est.)[11] are of African or partially African descent, with many being able to trace their origins to the West African countries of Ghana and Nigeria.[71][110] Other major ancestral areas are Europe,[111] South Asia, and East Asia.[112] It is uncommon for Jamaicans to identify themselves by race as is prominent in other countries such as the United States, with most Jamaicans seeing Jamaican nationality as an identity in and of itself, identifying as simply being 'Jamaican' regardless of ethnicity.[113][114] A study found that the average admixture on the island was 78.3% Sub-Saharan African, 16.0% European, and 5.7% East Asian.[115] Another study in 2020 showed that Jamaicans of African descent represent 76.3% of the population, followed by 15.1% Afro-European, 3.4% East Indian and Afro-East Indian, 3.2% Caucasian, 1.2% Chinese and 0.8% other.[116]

Since you are a right-winger, how can you know what the left loves?

You know the rules: If you self-identify as "right-wing" or "conservative", then anything you don't like must be part of the left-wing.

Eight days ago I posted that I 'thought' it would be her.

Maybe I'll go back to election consulting.  ;P

We're looking at payroll tax deferral, not forgiveness (not that we should)...

First, people with jobs don't need relief; It is the people without jobs who need it. The money going into Social Security / Medicare / Medicaid this week, came out of payroll taxes last week. So this is a quick way to bankrupt the whole system. Completely asinine.

I'd hold off a couple weeks before buying. You will probably get a better deal from his widow.
