  1. Robert, I don't pretend to know how the money got there. It's obviously the biggest unknown in this case, other than the obvious one. But the idea that Kenny, or anyone else, put money in a paper bag and tossed it in the Columbia to make it appear that Cooper died is ridiculous. If that was the plan, then why not plant the money somewhere within the area where he landed? If he survived, then Cooper knew where he came down and where they think he came down. Why go out of that range to plant money? And if you wanted them to find the money, tossing it in any body of water is not the way to make that happen. Again, this is a bad theory and it is a theory designed to fit around a suspect.
  2. Not a good theory. There is no logical reason to put the money in a paper bag or any other type of container. None. The money was not given to Cooper in a paper bag. If someone finds 3 stacks of Cooper money in a paper bag, it implies that Cooper is alive since it would be obvious that the money was removed from the bank bag and put into a paper bag. Who else would have access to the money to do that besides the guy that bailed out of the plane with it? It would in no way imply that Cooper died in the jump, but rather that he lived. It is much more probable that the stacks of bills, however they got in the Columbia, traveled in the same container that they left the plane in.
  3. Cool. I hope you don't mind that I copied it and posted on another forum I'm part of. If you do mind, too bad.
  4. Robert, you are wrong. These so called allegations from an anonymous emailer to you are none of mine or anyone else's business, including yours. They have nothing to do with the DB Cooper case. If Eric has done something wrong, then someone should go to law enforcement. Otherwise, people need to mind their own damn business. I know that's hard for you.
  5. Robert - You are sticking you nose where it does not belong. I hope Eric knocks it completely off of your face.
  6. As is often the case, you do not recall correctly. I watched all of the videos done by SafecrackingPLF and commented on a few of them. I would always read the comments after each video. So he absolutely did allow comments. He may have turned them off in recent years since he seems to be no longer interested in the case.
  7. Wow, I really shouldn't say this, but I just can't resist. You're aren't as good at it as you think you are. Perhaps you should visit your Quora site and put those skills to use. Just sayin'.
  8. The comments that you removed from Youtube were respectful, but casted doubt on KC as Cooper so it wasn't allowed. You had no idea that it was actually "Parrotheadvol" that was posting, you just didn't like the differing opinion and didn't allow it.
  9. I have made several comments to your videos on Youtube. Not a single one of them ever saw the light of day, because you didn't allow them. You do not allow comments on your videos that offer a differing opinion than yours. You also come on here and say that, "everyone is welcome, just use the same name you use on DZ or The Cooper Forum, that's all I ask". Why not just be honest and say that certain people are not allowed to comment on your articles or videos, or at Quora?
  10. The posts on your site, which according to Blevins are dwindling, are all about Cooper. The Cooper posts there far outweigh the Cooper related posts here. It's not even close.
  11. Shutter, if you do the pool, we should also do an over/under on how many times the event will be "off again, on again".
  12. Eric called him out last week, and he backed down real quick.
  13. Since we are doing off topic stuff today, here's my two cents: Rest In Peace, Eddie Money. He had some big hits but I always thought he was a bit under appreciated. Other than John Mellencamp, he was probably my favorite rocker of the 80's. His "No Control" album is one of my all time favorites. Think I'll crank up some "Shakin'" in honor of the Money Man.
  14. Robert - I don't know if Bernie was gay or not, nor do I care. But the fact that he was married more than once, had children, had girlfriends etc, does not in any way mean that he couldn't have been gay or bi. I've known people that was married with children, yet wound up being gay. The pastor that baptized my daughter was married and had a family. He was someone that no one ever thought about being gay, but today he has aids and a boyfriend. Some people are good at hiding these things and in the 70's there were certainly plenty of reasons to keep it hid. Again, I'm not suggesting that Bernie was. But you didn't know the man well enough to say it's not remotely possible for him to have had a few skeletons in his closet.
  15. I have an Optima, but can't recall the model number. I had an older model and upgraded to a newer model after I redid my movie room a few years ago. I had a problem with the projector when it was a few weeks out of warranty and Optima honored the warranty and replaced the unit. I've had no issues since. I use a 120" screen with my projector. Below are pics of the movie room after the remodel. Notice the disco ball and strobe lights that I put in for the kids. Neither of the projectors that I have used in this room had a real high lumen rating. There is absolutely no ambient light in the room, so that wasn't real important to me.
  16. To 'Anonymous in Vancouver', Perhaps you should contact Troy Bentz and ask him how well his confidentiality was "fully protected" when he gave Blevins some information.
  17. The documentary on Reca was very good. The problem with this case in general, is that someone who is not familiar with the details of it, can be easily convinced that Reca is Cooper. Same can be said for Rackstraw, Christiansen, Peterson or any of the others. For instance, the doc gives a perfectly good reason why the plane would have flown the route that would have allowed Reca to land in Cle Elum and gives a good reason why they would have hid that route from the public. I don't buy it, not for a second. But the average person that isn't familiar with the details of the case would. Same result as the Rackstraw doc, people that didn't know better just believed it. Same will happen with a Christiansen movie if it happens. Personally, I would like to know how much of the rest of the Reca story is true, if any. Was he really an CIA operative? Watching the documentary, you get the idea that this is a forgone conclusion. I'd like to see more info on that myself. Also, was he really in Cle Elum the night of the hijacking and why? The witness that said he was comes across as very believable and doesn't strike me as a liar, but that was also a long time ago to remember the details like he does. But, you can find these folks in every one of these stories. At the end of the day, it sounds like Reca had a very interesting story, I just don't believe he was Cooper. But, if he lied about that, then how much of the other stuff is lies? To me, the biggest evidence against Reca being Cooper is the recorded confession. He was led on many of the answers. Some of the other answers he gave were very questionable as well, such as when he said that he had no idea what kind of plane he was hijacking, and had planned to jump out the side door and had no knowledge of the aft stairs. That to me is a bigger red flag than the Cle Elum thing. Reca also supposedly bought a house for cash some time after the hijacking. If I remember correctly, the documentary includes an interview with the guy that sold him the house. Seems like I've heard that one somewhere before. But still, the doc is worth a watch.
  18. I'm intrigued by the Walter Recca story. I don't think he's Cooper, but there's a lot of questions regarding that dude that I'd like to know the answer to.
  19. I remember going to Ghost Town when I was a kid. There was a plan to re-open it this year, but it didn't happen. Last I saw it was up for sale for around $6 Million. It did re-open for a little while a few years back. There is a sledding hill with man made snow across the street from there that we go to from time to time. Hadn't been in a couple of years but I'm going to try and take the kids again this winter.
  20. The Lady Vols basketball program has turned into a dumpster fire as well. They were at one time one of the elite programs in the country as was the football team. Unfortunately those days are long gone. I drove through downtown Kingsport this past week on my way to Virginia.
  21. Well, I guess I will have to change my name to ParrotheadCowboy as I am now done with the Vols. One can only take so much of that shit show.
  22. Robert, please define "Major Contributor". Yes, I belong to and greatly enjoy Shutters site. But I don't really contribute anything. I don't investigate Cooper, never have. I don't have the time, money or know how to do any of that. Sure, I could probably come up with a suspect, develop a huge case of confirmation bias, maybe even write a book and then label myself a Cooper Investigator. Nope, too much of that going on as it is. I'll just stay on the sidelines, read the forums and the news stories along with the occasional book and be just fine. I'll throw out a comment or two along the way. My point in all of this is to point out that I am not a "Major Contributor" to anything Cooper related. So please do not label me as such. Thank You.
  23. I bet that I could join, get banned and be back on in no time even with the IP ban in place. Just sayin'. Don't worry though. I'm not going to bother joining.
  24. Thanks for the first good post of the day. I'll check it out on my way to Virginia on Wednesday.
