    Heheh.. you must live in the Southwest or Midwest. If I took a walk to scout hazards, I'd need knee-highs and all I would see are trees.

    No. Anytime there's a change in the gear, one should either use a backup, or significant ground training, or both until fluent. In skydiving, has "overcautious" ever been or ever need to be a subject of discussion. If anyone ever think that you or another is being a "knob-end" about safety; tell them to get back with you after reviewing the Incidents or Blue Skies forum. ~ former S&TA

    I think you were right, it was a change of kit and he needed to have the ability to adjust. One thing though some DZs in the UK now have students using digital altis from jump 1 now

    I just make 3 jumps with Skipper EVO-95 loaded 1.85. It swoops absolutely great for it's class.

    finally after 10 months of Gary's 182 sitting in the hangar, it's been sold or bought. saw someone checking it over last week, and today it's is gone.. going to Miss seeing Gary's 182 next to mine...
