So basically it is a new canopy design, but it's marketed under the same name. IMHO pretty stupid when a canopy is known to collapse...The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. Even a world class canopy pilot, Loic Jean Albert, has been lucky to be alive after his Ninja collapsed (december 2001). PdF has good products (atom legend, Electra, tandem harness...) but the original Ninja is to be avoided ! Laurent 0 #11 January 10, 2004 Our DZ owner and his son are now jumping a ninja 2. According to them, it's a good canopy (they have 2000 jumps, and jumped the original ninja before it was grounded). I'm not good enough to try the ninja 2, I can only tell that I saw them flying fast and then landing safely with their new canopy.
