  1. Hello, I demoed this new ProFly suit in Gap. I was lucky...demo M suit was exactly my size. I needed 3 jumps to begin to master that new suit. The transition from the SFly Expert to the ProFly is fast. This ProFly is flying faster horizontally than the SFly Expert. This new suit has a very beautiful design, with a great flying potential (it is also more demanding from a muscular point of view). 2. Very good news ! Last Stupino boogie was outstanding. We met very nice people there in Russia and did very nice flocks flights together.
  3. Nice people, very nice and large DZ surrounded by forest. Good turbolet L410 aircraft and Mi8... Very nice club house, and 2 pretty good wingsuit big ways on sunset tonight. Competition will take place this week end. (and for pilots:aerobatic Sukkhoi aircraft with female world champion on Stupino airport! Good value for money to fly with her! Also Yak52 aircraft!) 4. Got mine! Fantastic mountain stunts... The wingsuit base jumps are stunning, with Loic carving between rocks.
  5. I did 10 jumps with an access, that's a good wingsuit for a beginner. Once you have understood the right body position, it flies well, even on your back. I believe it's a good choice, if you do not have enough jumps to fly an s-fly expert.
  6. See their website www.ojbpara.com Nice staff, good pilatus plane, boogie from 6 to 15 august 2005, may be they will have a casa or skyvan. Camping zone under pinetrees, food and bar. I recommend this dropzone. Did 15 wingsuit jumps in may 2005 there, and enjoy them.
  7. Thanks Fergs and Jasmin, Flying over parliament in Canberra would be great! Unfortunately, I've a work meeting monday 19/09 in Melbourne. I'll go to Nagambie, and may be Temora too to join the flock on 17/09 and 18/09, if I've enough time to go to Temora and then going back to Melbourne. Jasmin, if you go to Gap in Southern France, fly your wingsuit with Loic!
  8. Hi Jasmin, I've jumped Gap, Cahors, and Mimizan in Southern France: Gap: very busy dz, beautiful mountains and home of many champions (http://www.parachutisme-gap.com/). Cahors: fast pilatus A34, swimming pool, great red wines (www.parachutisme.com). I will jump there in aug/sept. Mimizan: view on atlantic coast, very nice pro staff, nice camping place under pinetrees (www.ojbpara.com) By the way, as you're in Australia...I will be in Melbourne in september, where can I skydive? (skydive nagambie? I would like to bring my s-fly wingsuit with me and fly with another wingsuit flyers) Laurent, autrefois sur l'ile de La Reunion http://perso.wanadoo.fr/windsurf/skydive
  9. Hello, S-fly Access is user-friendly for wingsuit beginners. I know 5 Access beginners and all of them were able to immediatly enjoy flying the Access from a plane (they were around 200 jumps when they start flying Access). As for performance, I did several jumps with Loic in his Access and me in s-fly expert, and saw that the body position is more important that the brand of wingsuit you have. It's not always easy to find the right body position to get performance from a suit. As for "cheaper than dirt" tracking pant, I've been told in south-africa by base jumper Patrick O'Connor that with a yellow plastic fisherman pant, a few holes to get the pant inflated and gaffer tape, you can fly very well too! He said one need to see it to believe it!
  10. Due to cloudy weather, I did a 21 second wingsuit jump from 3500 ft to 2500 ft in Citrusdal last saturday. It was an interesting visual for the other people on the ground...especially when I had a lot of spinning on opening (bad position). I should have open with my legs fully closed. 11. Hi, I'm going to Citrusdal in South-Africa next month, with my Javelin...and my s-fly wingsuit. Hope to do a few jumps there. Who knows the reserve repack regulations in South Africa? (in France now it's one mandatory repack each year). I send them an email but haven't got a response yet.
  12. Hi, For my canon rebel still camera, I have cut a small plate of aluminium, drilled one hole in my flat-top helmet, cut a thin sheet of polystyrene and add tape above it. Screw your rebel until it cannot turn. I unscrew mine when I only use my camcorder. See the attached picture, you can't go wrong.
  13. I understand your feelings! I did my first ten jumps with Loic last july and quickly ordered my new s-fly wingsuit. He's an incredibly gifted pilot and a great instructor too...
  14. Hi, I did it last year, for a friend's ZP canopy, after a bloody bad landing. Canopy and girl are ok now. Clean immediatly the fresh blood with COLD water. No soap, no warm water !
  15. 1st average: 0.20 2nd average: 0.184 (male, 38) Believed I was quicker than that ! Consternation...
