AggieDave 6 #2 August 5, 2003 It looks like a d-bag for a flag...flag jump. A BIG flag. jdfreefly 1 #4 August 5, 2003 Some countries require a Tandem Master in training make a jump with dead weight (ie - a sack of dirt or puch of lead). Since this is a strong dual hawk tandem rig, I would guess it is a "student". Notice the 3 ring setup at the bottom. Probably opens the pouch and lets the sand out or something like that. AggieDave 6 #6 August 5, 2003 QuoteIts a dummy passenger ..correct..! I jumped a similiar version for my RWS TCC. That's cool, I've never heard of that. Especially since I didn't have have to do that for my RWS rating here in the States.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Ron 7 #7 August 5, 2003 Its JC Perren a tandem instructor at Zhills and a SunPath Employee. It is a weight sack that is used to let jumpers jump a tandem without a passenger. It is also used to allow them to test jump things like the military Javelin with high loads. If you look you can see where he can drop the weight if he has to."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
