I have seen a couple videos taken with the Canon 7D at 720p and 60fps then edited with Premiere with the Twixtor plugin. I would assume there might be some problems with 60fps ->twixtor -> 1000fps footage since fast movements like clothes or hair flapping in the wind cannot be interpolated to look natural.
