newshooter12 0 #6 November 16, 2006 I've never had a problem with my lexar cards sorry to hear about your problems. what camera are you using it with and what make/model of card is it? That said i've never had any problems with the San Disk cards or Ultra Cards i've had and used either. some just seem to transfer faster than others. matt

Costyn 0 #8 November 17, 2006 Quoterebel xt camera. the problems i have been having is out of no-where the err 99 message will pop up and delete all my pics on the card You can often recover pics that are on the card, even if they have been removed/deleted with programs like Exif Untrasher (for Mac). You need a separate card reader to do it though, Exif Untrasher won't work if you read the card through the camera usb interface. Bazair2air 0 #9 November 17, 2006 I have had the err99 happen twice in about a year on my 20D. Turn off the camera, remove the CF card and then remove the battery for about a minute. Replace the CF card and then the battery and power it back up. In both cases the camera worked fine after that and all my pics were still there. pope 0 #13 November 18, 2006 There are no perfect cards/brands of cards. Having a single card fail or go bad is not nearly a ig enough sample to make a determinationof whether or not that brand id good or not--they all suck sometimes. I have Lexar media and two generations of Sandisk, and so far they've all worked more or less alright.

Lindsey down in Deland has 2 lexasrs that have given here the same problem. I have spoken with quite a few camera flyers and quite a few have had the same problem all with lexar. So far, the new Brand is holding up. Well, if lexar works for you use it. It hasn't for mehttp://www.skydivethefarm.com do you realize that when you critisize people you dont know over the internet, you become part of a growing society of twats? ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?
