How to change the lens??

Recommended Posts

So, how do you change the lens? I have a JVC GR-DX75U and I would like to change the lens. I'm pretty proficient on electronics/computers, I just need some instructions. OR, should just take it to some electronics shop and let them do it?

Thanks.

Not really familiar with that model, but if it's like -most- consumer cameras, you don't change the lens, but instead you put on a wide angle (or telephoto) lens in addition to the existing one.

Look on the front of the lens for some mounting threads and read the manual. ;)

I'm assuming you're not quite ready to jump it yet. ;)

Excuse me?

Lemme get this straight . . . (on so many levels).

Your profile says you're newly licensed with 49 jumps and you say you're looking through the viewfinder while jumping this camera?

Is this correct?

I guess I should explained myself a little more. When you AIM the videocam ON THE GROUND and you use the viewfinder, it is hard to judge what you are going to capture. When I review the video I get only so little. By the way, good articles about camera flying dude, you are my hero!!

Dave, I told you it would do that unless you used the football helmet roll cage idea we talked about. Some people never listen - I did find that glue you wanted to mont it to your other helmet though.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

I discovered just lately that a disc cutter works wonders on taking that stupid lens off.

then i used tree sap to attach the home made lens i made to the camera.

try it urself, it works!:D;)

if u need suggestions on how to mount ur new highly modified camera to ur helmet give me a shout
