That's part of why this site NEEDS moderation. I don't always agree with the decisions the moderators make, but I do recognize that this site wouldn't work without moderation. There has been an upswing of people posting stupid one liner posts, posting just to see who they can get to reply, thread titles that are 3 sentences long, and just general "trolling" activities by long time community members lately. Also the "Dublin hijacking" is getting out of control. While the criteria you mentioned from the rules are a bit subjective and open to individual Moderator interpretation, we try very hard to be consistent. HH also designed the rules and chose his Moderators so all of those things fit together. I have two suggestions for you: 1) If you see a thread that seems unfair to you, PM one of the Moderators from that foum (listed at the top). We do our level best to read every post. There are also Moderators worldwide on purpose so that hopefully someone is nearly always on. There are many options we have in dealing with those types of posts. Just bring them to our attention! 2) Fill out your profile. Seemingly anonymous posts, especially on controversial topics, are not as powerful and forwarding to these discussions as those from seemingly "real" people. I've already been part of the Choicepoint identity theft.
