Ah, the good old days ... where you got dirty getting INTO the plane, it took FOREVER to get to altitude, you got bruised and battered getting OUT (and it took a LONG time to get to the door) and you SMILED liked you never smiled before when you got to the ground. I'll miss those days. I'm guessing they'll be few and far between in this day and age. Too much of that "instant gratification" in our world now. See you in LP and we'll reminisce about the days gone by ... I'll be one of the old ones sitting down at the bar - I'm guessing you'll be on my left. Anyway, I talked to Fred the other day, hoping we could have the DC-3 for the POPs record 40-way. Doesn't look like it. People keep talking about the expense of flying it, can you believe Dause used to charge us $10 and he still made money? I guess ferry costs would be too much, but I remember the Boogies when the DC flew Glacer tours. cya all there, I'll be on either side of you all at the bar, Lang in hand.
