fmmobley 0 #1 October 2, 2005 I am visiting Nashville soon and was looking for a nearby DZ to jump at. On Dropzone.com there is a DZ listed east of Nashville in Alexandria. However, I can't get their web site to open or their phone to answer. Does anyone know if they are in operation? Are there other DZ's near Nashville that anyone would recommend (hopefully with turbine aircraft)?... Marion
jumpchikk 0 #2 October 2, 2005 When are you coming to Nashville? The closest would be Tullahoma, but still uncertain about when that will be open again. The next closest would be in Cullman, Alabama... which Chaoskitty can take over from here because I can't remember how far she said Cullman is.
calledisrael 0 #3 October 2, 2005 i am interviewing for a job soon in nashville and am interested in the same answer. it seems that with tullahoma still closed, the best options are alabama and the west TN place near memphis. which is closer? what is the difference? going up next weekend, and i was hoping to check out dzs - life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all. jumpchikk 0 #4 October 2, 2005 Cullman is definitely going to be closer than West Tennessee. Cullman is flying a King Air as well as West Tennessee.

Or YOU can take over and have a RoamingDZ boogie there! I can't remember for sure, but didn't the town or airport have a problem with the boogies there and they decided not to allow any more boogies? As far as I know Marvin's done. It was a good thing when it lasted but he personally says hes done unless the Super natural happens. Cullman best bet if you want Turbine near Nashville other wise you have West TN Mikes place, Bardstown Ky cool place run by Cindy and Kenn Heismann-awesome people. Harry Rooks place in Russelville KY . Thats about it from Nashville that I know off.
