Depsite the "in and out clouds", despite not having the extra aircraft after some technical difficulties and despite my 4 hour delay at the airport getting back home , I look forward to returning to Thomaston again soon. I just love that place (and so many of the people there )!! There were all sorts of cameras snapping during the weekend so I want to see pictures, or links to them. Although I was a little disappointed that the music wasn't bumpin' in the King Air like I expected. Thanks as always to Los Carbones (Especially Scotty for finally finding out my name . And I expect him to remember it too, since I was one of the privileged folks who got to see his ASS ) Tami, you should make him hang out after closing time more often, but make sure he wears a BELT. The wife can't wait to do her PMS jump with you next time you get a chance. Ian, you can expect to see me at one of the FF coaching weekends soon. That said, I did have a couple issues with the manifest process. I may be mistaken, but it seems to me that the only way the loads could get backed up that fast by that number of people is if people were allowed to double or triple manifest - which is one thing if you have a fixed number of jumpers sitting in the hangar from 9am on. But if I were rolling in at noon with a pocket full of money after driving all morning, I'd be more than a little pissed to find out I couldn't get on a load until dinner time. Also, I had to refuse the part of the waiver that asked for my credit card number. I understand pre-authorizing so you don't get stiffed. But I'm not comfortable leaving my Visa number just scribbled on a piece of paper somewhere. Especially if I were paying cash in advance for all my jumps. Just some observations of things I'm not used to seeing at boogies. Over all, a kick ass weekend. We've got pics coming too.
