skymama 35 #2 January 31, 2005 I think Skydive Space Center in Titusville, FL either goes up to 15,000 all the time or quite often. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
ianmdrennan 2 #3 January 31, 2005 99% of the time it's 14500 at Skydive Atlanta. The rest of the time it's 14000. Once or twice it's been 15000. Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
bkdice 0 #4 January 31, 2005 Ha! I was just thinking - ATL. Every time I've been in that AWESOME King Air - it's gone to 14.5 + - and in less than 10 mins every time too.
buzzfink 5 #5 January 31, 2005 Be careful going to high altitudes on a regular basis. I know of at least one king air crash due to pilot getting hypoxic. Hypoxia is a progressive condidtion. Meaning, if you go to 15K or 16K every load, each time it gets worse. Here are the requirements for these jumps: SEC. 91.211 SUPPLEMENTAL OXYGEN (a) General. No person may operate a civil aircraft of U.S. registry— (1) At cabin pressure altitudes above 12,500 feet (MSL) up to and including 14,000 feet (MSL) unless the required minimum flight crew is provided with and uses supplemental oxygen for that part of the flight at those altitudes that is of more than 30 minutes duration; (2) At cabin pressure altitudes above 14,000 feet (MSL) unless the required minimum flight crew is provided with and uses supplemental oxygen during the entire flight time at those altitudes; and (3) At cabin pressure altitudes above 15,000 feet (MSL) unless each occupant of the aircraft is provided with supplemental oxygen. Stay safe. Buzz
jlmiracle 7 #6 January 31, 2005 When the King Air is there we go to 14,500 in 7 minutes at West Tennessee Skydiving. JudyBe kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

mcneill79 0 #8 January 31, 2005 Adventure Center Skydiving in Hollister, CA goes to 15K regularly and offers 18K too.
freefalle 0 #9 January 31, 2005 Skydive Space Center in Titusville Fl goes to 15000 on every load and will usually do at least a couple a day to 18,
crewkeith 0 #10 January 31, 2005 mile hi goes to 17500 msl but we start at five grand. does that count??? .The skies are no longer safe I'm back
kelpdiver 2 #11 February 1, 2005 QuoteAdventure Center Skydiving in Hollister, CA goes to 15K regularly and offers 18K too. And reliably fills the King Air to do so. Monterey will take the Otter to 15k as well, but if there aren't enough people or the wind takes out students and renters, it's 206 time. That plane can go to 18 if people pay for it, but I did my last 4 AFFs on it to 11ish. Perris and Elsinore do go over 14k *above sea level*, not ground. jlmiracle 7 #15 February 1, 2005 QuoteOk, thanks peoples, BUT i`m after a rush ABOVE 18,000ft Then I suggest halojumper.com or WFFC will offer both Halo (30,000 ft) and high Altitude (23,000 ft).
