I wore Teva's for a bit until I had a nasty off airport landing. I had some really cool strap marks on both feet for a bit. I like my Reebok's very much though. The only other foot gear I would wear might be Converse. They usually have smooth tread as well. It is definitely a key in swooping I think. I tore a few tendons and had tons of nerve damage awhile back and it's pretty much a necessity now. But I've always favored New Balance shoes even before.
