Mike and Wendy are doing good. Mike is working in FL. with another jumper and from what I have been told making good money. I have not seen Mike since Nationals 2003 since he has quit jumping due to an injury (not a skydiving injury, but skydiving didn't help it) I have not seen Wendy in a number of years. I have not seen Mike since Nationals 2003 since he has quit jumping due to an injury (not a skydiving injury, but skydiving didn't help it). I worked with Mike for a lot of years. I think that his injury was definately skydive related. As he describes it, he blew out his rotator cuff twice on exits, the second time on a C-130 exit. The last one put it beyond the hope of reasonable recovery for skydiving. A shame, but it did spur him to a new career as a pilot.
Ron 10 #6 January 4, 2005 QuoteI think that his injury was definately skydive related. Yes, I didn't know how to describe a skydiving related injury without an accident without people think it was a direct result of an accident, not a injury that was due to repeated use."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
