Did Colorado lose their senate . . .

Recommended Posts

No, because none of the young went out to vote, and stayed home.

Mid-term election. Most of the voters are older/white.

I hate all of these assholes who stays home and hope for the best.

California had chance to legalize marijuana. Despite of lack of participation by young pot smokers, that proposition almost came through.

It takes lots of effort to go from initiative to proposition. Californians fucking blew it. At the time there were severe pressure from medical marijuana shops to not to vote for it.

Fucking crazy ya? Out of all people they should have been the one to support the proposition and yet most of them were handing out pamphlets to persuade medical marijuana license holders to not to vote for it.

and these dumbass young pot smokers fell for the trick.

How else would they make record profit when it becomes fully legal right?

Did Colorado lose their Senate...?
If you mean "Did Colorado lose their Senate seat?
Uh no! The Constitution specifies two Senators for each state.

Perhaps the better questions is did your preferred candidate win?
Well if your preferred candidate was Udall...well...he got his ass kicked!

. . . because of legalization of Mary Jane?

The most recent CO state gun control legislation got a lot more CO people PO'd at the Democrats than the MJ legalization.

CO citizens voted for the MJ legalization.
We did *not* get to vote on the gun control legislation.

What about those pot smokers who actually read the proposition?

Pot doesn't make you stupid. Lack of education and apathy towards politic make you stupid.

It was so absurd at the time. All the dispensary were up in arms to not to make pot legal.

They were saying that the legalization is bad, the rule is unfair, if you get caught selling or giving pot to minor you'll be charged with felony, it is almost legal right now anyways. blah. blah. blah
all of those equals to I'm about to lose my business, wah.

fucking greedy dispensary ruined it.

Truth is that they would've still had their business going on. Maybe even making more profit, without the city coming after them. I'm glad that some city is closing down dispensary and DEA is knocking on their door.

I sincerely thank you for your time.

We need more participation.

Amongst the younger crowd there is alot of speculation that the country is going to Elitism, and the vote doesn't mean anything.(Conspiracy theorists). I really don't believe that they will spend billions of dollars on campaign if the voting process is rigged from the start. I believe that our constitution works, I believe in the checks and balance, and our founding fathers were incredibly genius.

Fucking go out there and vote, and read and educate yourself on proposition before you start punching holes and shit.

The Governor race is rigged....Dems saw that Beauprez was winning last night so they found a bunch of spare votes lying around and threw those in for the win
