For example, some want the govt to pay their medical expenses, but do not want the govt telling them they can't smoke. Some want the govt to cover their retirement, but not tell them when they can retire. Me? I have always maintained that government is the least efficient means of doing anything and therefore must be restricted to things that can't be done at a lower level. The individual level is best. I have also long maintained that I don't want to tell anyone else how to live their lives because I don't want them telling me how to live mine. Don't do anything that hurts others, including stealing their money through taxes, and we'll get along fine.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..
