Quote EU bans claim that water can prevent dehydration EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact. Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month. Marinus 0 #4 November 20, 2011 I only saw the Dutch version of it on two (2) internet sites that are known to be journalistic gutters. They both referred to the Telegraph as the source. So yeah, I think it's safe to assume that it's just the next example of bad journalism. There are too many "Telegraphs" out there to find out which one this is coming from, but I'm sure it's about the same quality as the Dutch "Telegraaf".
