In July, Tehran produced a catalogue of haircuts meeting government approval. The list banned ponytails, mullets and elaborate spikes.

I couldn't agree more. :D:D

1981 to 1988 is 7 years-Kallend (oops, it's actually 8 years Kallend)

The decade of the 80's was from 1980 to 1989. 10 years. If you remove 1980 and 1989 you have 1981 to 1988. 8 years.

Oddly enough, that makes sense to me. When I last lived in Bahrain (three years ago), I saw that younger Arab men (the rich kids) were sporting mullets. It was the fashion, along with ball caps instead of the kaffiyeh. Personally, I thought many of them looked like Alvin & the Chipmunks that way.

While keeping dogs as pets has become increasingly fashionable in Iran in recent years, the fatwa cited Islamic tradition, which dictates that dogs are unclean.

In June, Ayatollah Shirazi declared dogs unclean, saying that dog owners were “blindly imitating the West” and that their devotion to the animals would result in “evil outcomes”.

I guess that whole unclean thing extends to lots of things in all the Abrahamic faiths in the middle east.

Someone writing the Koran must have observed dogs licking their junk or their asses.

So if your dog is licking your face.. or if you do as some and get into tounging it with the dog.... dude.. that is like licking dog ass.:S

Not that there is anything wrong with that if..........nah.. that is just wrong:ph34r::ph34r:
