My only problem comes when someone with the higher education uses it to belittle people in a vain attempt to make themselves feel superior, such as yourself. So many of your post are filled with responses that show your over inflated ego and arrogance. Of course you will not see that because your ego will not allow you to see what so many others can see. You are correct. There are people that will focus on trivial matters such as this. It helps to fuel their ego so they can feel superior. And of course it also points out how arrogant they can be. The cost you are referring to here is after the fact which was not your original argument. Earlier you were referring to mental health screening for everyone before the fact. If only a third of the population of the U.S. were required to get some form of mental health screening at $250 (probably a low estimate) that would be 25 billion dollars. If there was such a law in place I bet it would not be a one time deal either. Who said I was abandoning the stance? Providing mental health care for thousands of dollars is cheaper than the tragedy of a multiple shooting which costs 10's of millions of dollars......ounce of prevention - pound of cure - maybe you've never heard of that - but I doubt it. Could you please show where you came up with these numbers? Thousand of dollars to provide mental health care for everyone or (at the very least) everyone that wants to purchase a gun? Doubtful. I don't think so. It looks like a Norman Kent photo, some similar ones being included in his book "The Book". I'll have a look at it tonight when I get home, but, I think it's Tahiti (or some other Polynesian island). The beach area looks similar from what I recall. AH! I was right... Almost! It is Norman Kent's, and he does have several pictures of those color coordinated jumps in his book, I just got the locations mixed up. It's over Eleuthera island in the Bahamas. Yep, you were right. Tahiti and the Bahamas are pretty much the same except they are in different oceans and many thousands of miles apart. You were right.......almost.
