Criminally bad decisions in one arena don't necessarily negate knowledge in another. Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13-year-old cousin -- does that mean that his music sucked?

Ritter belongs in jail for what he did (if he did it -- good catch, Andy). But the knowledge didn't go away.

If he did it. The news articles certainly are damning; but of course, news articles on criminal cases, especially at the early stages of the case, almost always tell only the authorities' side of the story. In the meantime, he's pled not guilty, so I suppose there'll be a trial if he doesn't cop a plea.
