I am sad today....

Dont worry.. All will be well. Tomorrow you can report to the local mosque and begin the conversion to Islam. You will need to pick a new name of couse.. so while reading the Quaran.... be sure to see what name resonates with you. Huyssein is popular and the always popular mohammed is also highly recommended.
Also you may notice a sligt decrease in your take home pay on Friday as the new taxes for converting the country to a socialist one will be in effect. You will at least have mediocre health care.. which for so many is an improvement. There will also be better public transit put in place as the fuel taxes will be so high that you will have to take the bus or train.

There should be rousing parades in a couple weeks as our young people are brought home from abroad. With this country finally an islamic state there will be no further need to protect us from the people worldwide who hate us. All will be good now.. all the problems will be solved. Peasce will reign eternal on earth.

i really hope your taking the p but i have this niggling feeling that your not

But more than that, it's that more people DON'T CARE.

I don't care about this for the same reason that I don't care that the Federal government perpetrated the 9/11 attacks. It's simply not true.

>Please note paragraph four. Jan 23 has another review on the docket.

I see that! However, that does not mean they "have not decided." It merely means someone is asking them the same question again.

Sounds fair, although I fear I will not be there for some time.

Ironically, your offer is exactly what Obama's offer was. He has posted a copy with parts removed to protect his privacy, and he has allowed news organizations and investigators to view the original directly.

OK billvon, here you go. Some obvious changes have been made, and some that you will probably never find - (if anyone has a burning desire private message me with your guesses).

Everything I have read states that the Governor of Hawaii has sealed the birth records - so no one has seen the "original".

Another point - I don't HAVE to prove my eligibility. I am not running for President - I am not leader of the free world, head of one of the most prosperous nations on the planet, able to incinerate another country with a phone call and a spoken code word - and yet I provided proof of native birth promptly. Why won't BO do the same?

Seems to me I've just proven, by Constitutional requirement, that I'm more eligible to be President than Barack Obama is - not that I would want the job!

I never said I didn't like Obama. I don't think he has proven eligibility for the office. And, if you read the OP, you will see I thought his speech was well done.

That comment is based on a complete lack of knowledge of Roman history.

Really? "Bread and circuses" (or Bread and games) (from Latin: panem et circenses) is an ancient Roman metaphor for people choosing food and fun over freedom. It often appears in commentary that accuses people of giving up their civic duty and following whichever political leader offers to satisfy their decadent desires. The phrase is commonly used to refer to short-term government solutions for persistent, long-term problems. - source - Wikipedia

"Those scornful words "bread and circuses," panem et circenses in Latin, become more meaningful when you understand that Roman citizens became increasingly addicted to free distributions of food and the violent gladiatorial and other contests held in the Coliseum and the chariot races of the Circus Maximus. He felt that Romans had lost the capacity to govern themselves so distracted by mindless self-gratification had they become." source - Thomas Martin, 2003

I'm not going to get into a p***ing match - I stated my opinion in the OP. You are free to agree or disagree - it's a (semi :)) free country.

I really must respond to this one: United States Constitution, Article II, Section 1: No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

What would convince you that he IS eligible? I'm not talking about "proof," because obviously your standard of proof is higher than some.

So, details. Do you need to see it yourself and touch it? Does a particular commentator or website author need to see it and approve it?

What exactly are you looking for that would say it is valid?

Don't the founding principles mean anything anymore?

Actually, for the first time in a long time, he's actually basing his presidency on our founding principles. He's done nothing but look back, refer to, and do research on what we've been founded on, what George Washington felt, what Lincoln did, what our founding fathers set out in the constitution to do. Wow... I mean, he's really going to follow our constitution instead of injecting his religious and personal beliefs into our system!!! I think he's come closest to examining our founding principles than anybody has in a VERY long time. If you can't see that, then I am actually sad for YOU, rather than our country. :S
Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

>OK billvon, here you go.

Thanks!

You have posted a birth certificate with more deleted information, and with less resolution, than Obama did. Good for you. It means, though, that Obama has done a better job of proving his citizenship than you have.

>Everything I have read states that the Governor of Hawaii has sealed

?? Uh, no. They are no more "sealed" than anyone else's birth certificate. State law in Hawaii does not allow officials to release the birth certificate of a person to someone outside of the family. They will, however, give a copy to family members. They did so, and it was posted on line. They will also verify that a birth certificate is valid. They have done so. They will also allow people (with permission of the family) to see the original birth certificate. They have done so.

>Another point - I don't HAVE to prove my eligibility.

Correct. Which is a good thing, since your birth certificate is even less credible than the one posted by Obama.

>Why won't BO do the same?

He did, and I posted a copy.

This is getting tedious.

The smaller BC I posted was limited by the upload limits - which are 100kb when I posted. Not my fault, I had to reduce it for posting. Want a screenshot of the red warning lettering saying my attachment exceeds the size limits?

The amount of info has nothing to do with anything - I posted a genuine copy of an Indiana BC from 1960 - that's all the info they put on those things from that time. Again, not my fault.

Probably nothing short of going back in time to Obama's birth and witnessing it first hand would convince him at this point.

OK, then I will ask you to do it. Post the original - with the original seal - on the net, right here in this thread. Or mail it to me and I will scan it, post it on the net and send it back. Your choice.

Gonna call me on it, eh? Ok, fine. I'll do it tonight - I WILL black out any info that could be used for identity theft purposes, of course. Not gonna be stupid, you know.

Gosh, you're lucky. I don't even have an original birth certificate. Mine's an "altered copy." [:/]

Fine. But what is your fault is that despite the above you are continuing to claim, against all established facts of the matter, that you have just produced more proof of your citizenship than Obama did. That is a flat out lie.

Put the partisan filters down and come and join the rest of us in reality. It's nice here, you'll like it.

It has nothing to do with partisanship. I stopped supporting the Republican Party years ago. I consider myself an independant, and didn't vote for either main candidate.

I'm also not "continuing to claim". I said it once, based upon my belief that my birth certificate was more "believable" that the one Obama has posted. I may not have as many data points (haven't counted them), but my OPINION is based on

1) mine looks more genuinely old, 48 years to be exact, with fading and wrinkles. It's not fresh as a daisy and pristine, and
2) mine has a Notary Seal in the lower left corner. Where's the one on Obama's?

What truly disappoints me is the amount of insulting, nasty, venomous responses posted in response to a simple personal opinion. What happened to repecting a difference of opinion? Even the moderators got into it. I thought they were supposed to be neutral?

No, a simple look through the thread shows that this is also not true.

You've said that he sealed his birth records. This is not true. You've said the Governor of Hawaii sealed his brith records. This is not true. You've said that you have posted more proof of your identity than Obama has. This is not true.

Your "opinion" has included statements of fact that are in direct opposition to known reality. There is no reason to respect a provably false statement. When you lie, people will point out that you are lying. This isn't nasty or venomous.

to the OP: it might be a sad day to YOU, for the rest of the world its a joyous day and people are cheering because of your new president. and i truly hope the same goes for the majority of your fellow countrymen!

honestly, i think you should support him with all you have, since your last president left nothing but a bloody mess, bitter people, agitated leaders of other nations and unnecessary wars..
