Treejumps 0 #6 November 30, 2004 Hardly an exodus, but if calling it that makes you feel better about losing the election, have at it.
lawrocket 3 #7 November 30, 2004 Enough of this nonsense, kev. Radically changing Cabinets following re-election is as common as Hillary Clinton being bitchy. In 1996, there were reports of the Clinton Cabinet exploding. Here's a list of Clinton's cabinet. Note that there were 8 cabinet members who either changed positions or resigned in 1997 alone. airdvr 200 #8 November 30, 2004 At the beginning of President Clinton's second term, seven Cabinet members stayed and seven left. The Homeland Security Cabinet post was added during Bush's presidency. At the beginning of President Reagan's second term, seven Cabinet members stayed and six left. The Veterans Affairs post became a Cabinet seat during President George H.W. Bush's term. Kev...keep the spin going. It's funny to read. Please don't dent the planet. JohnRich 4 #9 November 30, 2004 I don't recall you pointing out such resignations when Clinton had *seven* cabinet members resign at the beginning of his second term. Why is that? This is normal attrition. It's not a sign that Bush is out of touch with his advisors. The only thing that this post is a sign of, is of your ever-burning hatred for Bush, and that you can't get over the fact that your man lost.
PhillyKev 0 #10 November 30, 2004 Well if you're looking for an argument, you've got to try harder. The guys below you are attributing my simple factual statement "Ridge resigned as Homeland Security Secretary" as burning hatred for Bush and inability to get over Kerry losing the election. You've really got to reach further, Storm, and stretch everything into partisan bickering if you want to start an argument. These other guys have you beat by a mile
