Who's getting Spring Fever?!

Well, I've started in earnest this past weekend! Spring Fever has hit hard here in Southern CA!

Car detailed, house cleaned, yardwork started. The garage was the victim tonight! Just got in an hour ago and devoured a delicious dinner.

House painting (outside) and re-roofing is next!

What's on -your- list this Spring? Has it hit you yet?

After being penned up inside for the last 4-5 months of winter its getting close. Its starting to get on my nerves but it hasn't caught me completely yet.

I am back to posting every day on DZ.com as I look forward to warm jumping weather
Soon I have to do so much stuff to get things caught up around the house ugh

1 ) clear out half of the junk in my spare room (Done. 2 conked out videos, a 15yr old hi-fi, 2 duvets, set of golfing irons and a crapload of cardboard boxes.
2 ) Mow back lawn for first time this year
3 ) Dig up front lawn, cut down tree and replace all with small fence and pea gravel (and no, I'm not planning to paint a target on it !)
4 ) Fly a Cessna

Yup, I got safty day induced spring fever.... but then it started snowing & hasn't stopped. At least I'm in Chicago & not the North East though.

I don't think you southern folk can talk about spring fever until you've experienced cabin fever .

Spring fever has struck in Kincardineshire.

Car detailed? New car, Audi A4 Avant 2.5 Tdi plenty room for dawgs and bairns.
House cleaned? New house (new to me 160 years old) in a wee village, no more big city blues for me.

What passes for a yard is full of winter debris and the snow is just about gone.
Garage...its full of junk from the move, sorting it out this weekend. My old Monarch is gonna come in handy as a dust cover.
Just finished hooking up wireless internet and wireless video. Waiting for my digital decoder and hard drive video recorder (Sky+ system) to arrive and I'll be a happy bunny.

Its worth the move...I'm half an hour closer to the DZ and the wee man's grandparents for babysitting.

I can't wait for summer, spring is too strenuous.

Agree 100%. I started to get things done last week when it started to get semi-nice. Then winter came back and said I don't think so. That's Ohio for ya.....

I'm going to start cleaning out the entire house, get the back room and office back into order.

I've also got to paint the exterior, thankfully it's three sides brick.

I'm already past Spring fever. Spring starts earlier in Florida. Winter was terrible, I hated that weekend.

You're probably right. However, in the 'dry climates' Spring Fever is the time when everything turns from brown to green (for a few weeks). It's my favorite time of year! Things just come ALIVE!
