Yoshi 0 #7 April 6, 2004 I have had my tongue pierced for 7 years now.. after I had it for 3 years I took it out for about 9 months and I was able to put the barbell back in without a problem. I have not swallowed any part of it though.. never.. perhaps you need to get better jewelry if its coming loose on you? you can always use other things to keep the hole open for a very short period without causing too many problems.. I would jsut suggest going to a shop and spending the 15-20 bucks and get a new one..._________________________________________ this space for rent. If you are unsure of the maker of your jewerly, just get a new barbell. It will be close to the same price as the new ball depending on the gauge in your mouth. If they are metal or acryllic balls, be careful screwing them on too tight. This can be a problem too, you ruin the thread of the screw/ball and it doesn't close or screw on completely. This is true esp. of the acryllics. This will give you better grip and you can put them on tighter. Use same technique to get them off. And if they come off again....spit, don't swallow.
