I watched this season for the first time tonight, and I guess I liked Bo better. Carrie was a little off key most of the time, though she does have a very good voice. Its hard to hear yourself on stage if your equipment is wacky.
I think either of them would be ok for an album if they were produced.

Oh yah.. and any idiot should know to NEVER perform a Martina McBride song. Theres no way you can do better than her.. and no way not to be compared when singing her songs.

My wife and kids enjoy the show, so I plant my ass on the couch to join them (daughter snuggles the whole time, it's pretty kewl)

As far as Carrie is concerned,l she had to pick a direction and I doubt she could have the range and stamina of LeAnn Rimes.

As far as Bo goes he has that whole southern rock thing going. I would have like to hear him sing a song by .38 special.

Well according to my 10 year old, Bo is the winner so thats where I casted my vote. It will be intresting to see how us DZ.com folks do in relation to the country.

I didnt like the ballad that he sang.. not really his style. I agree that he could do southern rock really well.
I thought he had more personality on stage than Carrie. She just looked nervous all night. Shes adorable though, I'm sure they'll both get at least a single out of this deal.

Believe it or not, I tuned into this show for the first time last night too, this season anyhow... Only saw the last 15 minutes or so, but thought Bo had a very real stage presence. He presents himself very well. I think he'll win... and be the 2nd Birmingham, AL area competitor to win in the last 3 years. B|
