bigern13 0 #2 March 22, 2006 Me either. No more booze for me. (at least not as much) I am done waking up saying "what happened?" or "What do you mean I DROVE HOME?!!" "I love 'lamp'." -SKYMAMA

blueskyserenity 0 #5 March 22, 2006 QuoteUgh. And is it bad that I say that pretty much every other day? They have support for that No really. I've been considering it. We have a lot of friends who have quit drinking and it is really commendable. They seem to have just as much fun at all the parties and no hangovers. Can you imagine that extra $$ we'd have?I like coconuts. You can break them open and they smell like ladies lying in the sun!
Lindercles 0 #6 March 22, 2006 Yes, it is bad that you say it every other day. Your best course of action is to quit drinking saying it.

lawrocket 3 #14 March 22, 2006 I've never said that. I like alcohol too much. I have been hung over a total of one time. I think I learned my lesson on Jan. 1, 1996, that the fun the night before just was not worth it. Why not try moderation with it? Quotes it bad that I say that pretty much every other day? Yes. Sorry to point this in a more serious direction, but that is a highly frightening comment. I used to enter a yearly pool with some friends and associates wherein every January, with the exception of the Super Bowl, we teetotaled. No alcohol. I'm willing to enter into a "no alcohol April" with you. I haven't done that in a couple of years. Here's a good reason for me to do it. Of course, the honor system applies, and if you DO have alcohol some night in April, then we add five days to it, i.e., you continue alcohol free until May 5. Up for it? Anyone else interested in joining? My wife is hotter than your wife.

kelel01 1 #16 March 22, 2006 Ok, no alcohol April sounds good. Hell, The Great American Smokeout (just 1 day) actually was the impetus to me quitting smoking for real.
freeflir29 0 #17 March 22, 2006 QuoteUp for it? Anyone else interested in joining? Nahhh...........life is a lot more fun with certain substances.........used with some form of moderation though. I could have used some moderation last night. It's 930 PM and I'm STILL a little hung over.

Shotgun 1 #19 March 22, 2006 Oh come on, don't be a quitter... Alcoholism is a beautiful thing... It makes you fat and unhealthy, gives your skin a nice yellow tone, gives you a fashionably swollen liver, wipes out all those unnecessary little brain cells, all kinds of cool things... I'd rather have one shot of really good tequila (El Jimador Anejo or Patron) or a glass of really good wine (zinfandel, please), than an entire bottle of cheap stuff.
