I've learned that there are historical traditions to how these are eaten/made... i.e. chili doesn't have beans (although I like them so I'll probably keep adding them... ) and sweet bread shouldn't have anything "spread" on it... which is just crazy talk... I'm just curious if there are any other interesting (or odd) food traditions, etc... that anyone knows... this isn't by any means limited to American traditions... the rest of the world is welcome to Chime in as well...
