Firefox 2

Recommended Posts

This is really annoying. If you find yourself using tabs a lot in the firefox here instead of going to the right hand side and clicking to collapse the tabs, here you have to colapse the on each individual tab.
Really annoying in my books.

That's amazing. I upgraded to F2 for the first time last night and thought exactly the same thing. :o

F2's new features doesn't raise the bar at all from version 1 IMHO. I'm uninstalling it and going back to the original tonight.

Middle clicking (i.e. pressing down on the scroll wheel) also closes tabs. I also have middle click set up to open a link in a new tab.

Haven't upgraded to firefox2 yet, dont know when I will.

I didn't know the middle-click to close trick... that's pretty neat.
Since we're sharing firefox tips, hold down the right mouse button and scroll with the scroll wheel. Cycles through the tabs. And if you have a side scroll, sideways goes through that tabs history.
Why does it say "Append signature to post" when I don't have a signature?
