I looked it up... it is possible that PTDY is usable in this situation... http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/pubfiles/af/36/afi36-3003/afi36-3003.pdf AFI36-3003 Table 7 Rule 33 Column A: If a member Requests PTDY to participate or train in sports, recreation and talent events officially conducted or sponsored by elements of the Air Force, inter-service organizations, or DoD, or to participate in regional, national, or international sports events pre-approved by HQ AFSVA/SVPAF Column B: Then unit commander may approve up to 30 days. Column C: comments (1) HQ AFSVA overseas and controls sports, recreation, and talent events. (2) Coordinate with the local services squadron/division before approving the request. (3) See Table 8. for use of DD Fm 1610 instead of AF Form 988, if applicable. I imagine this would fall under DoD sponsored Sports events... but I don't know... matthewcline 0 #13 November 7, 2006 Last year we went full TDY. I just got clearance for PTDY and am working on an upgrade. lows of 48F and highs of 72F all weekend! GK's do have a few CRW Guru's. So it is looking like 2 SE's will be there again this year and able to team up with some one. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
