what's your best recipe using honey?

Recommended Posts

My mom used to make "honey chicken" in the oven which was quite tasty. I don't have the recipe but I'm sure you can find something online for it.

the chicken and ham realms sound the most promising. i also have a nice piece of steelhead left that i was thinking of using, but its so good just grilled with salt and pepper that i don't know if i want to mess with it.

If you go to www.allrecipes.com, they have an option (ingredient search) where you can put in ingredients you want to use and it will give you all the recipes with them. There are a bunch with chicken that are very good, I have made the honey-almond chicken one, mmmmmmmm :P

These are really good. I use just enough batter for however many muffins I want at the time. They are fresh and hot in 20-30 minutes.

Bran Muffin Batter

1 cup Oil
1 cup Honey (12 ounces)
6 Eggs
1 quart Buttermilk
1 box (15 oz.) Raisins (2¾ cups)
2 large Apples, chopped
5 cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 tablespoons Baking Soda
2 teaspoons Salt
2 cups Bran

Mix and store in a large tightly-sealed container in the refrigerator for up to three months. Bake in muffin tins at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. (Do not cool in pan.)
