skymama 35 #1 August 29, 2007 It just stopped, right in the middle of my workout. I almost did a nose dive into the electronics panel! Has anyone had this happen before and know if it's fixable or not, or should I just send it to the curb? If it looks like you toasted the motor I've got an old small block 400 in the barn that I've been building that should do you fine....trust meI am not the man. ntrprnr 0 #6 August 29, 2007 See if you popped a fuse - depending on what kind it is, it could be a $2.00 repair. If not, could be time for a new one... That's what credit cards are for! Of course, there could always be... you know... running OUTSIDE. I'm just sayin..._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues." popsjumper 2 #10 August 29, 2007 SOs are supposed to be good with tools. Put it on his "Honey-do" list. In the meantime, do you have a stairwell? In FL? Probably not.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239

Yes even when it is on an incline!!! You use a significant less percentage of your leg muscles when on a treadmill. Putting it on an incline will help, but in my opinion you are better off outside. Actually you don't have to be outside, just off of a moving belt. And some of my early morning workouts burn just as much calories as some of my other work outs. you're doing it wrongSkymama's #2 stalker -

If running takes place on a treadmill than skydiving takes place in the plane.Andrea, That rat wheel doesn't give you the same workout you would get if you ran for the same time/distance in the real world. And surely, you'd get less people walking/driving into shit as they check you out. Beerlight 0 #21 August 29, 2007 Yes, it's happened to meIt could be just a fuse. If not, call a local gym and ask who performs their treadmill maintenance. They usually outsource that. I would repair it unless it's a very old treadmill......
