What Aircraft Does This Resemble?

Recommended Posts

The jumpers pictured were from a US Army Special Forces group out of Fort Lewis, Washington.
They were the first to freefall from V-22 in January 1993 (?) at Edwards Air Force Base, in the Mojave Desert of California.
Those same test jumpers spent their weekends skydiving at California City Skydive Center.

Static-line testing came later.

Saw this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LTV_XC-142 at the LTV plant at Dallas Naval Air Station in about 1964. It was hovering about 20 feet off the ground for about 45 minutes due to the fact that they couldn't extend the landing gear.:D:D Finally landed it very gingerly on the belly with no injuries and little damage.

The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
