irisheyes 0 #3 November 13, 2007 I know Michael's sells them. And, I have seen them in my local grocery store too, think they are used for jams and jellys. Maybe try a Linens n' Things or another kitchen supply store. Good luck!

PLFXpert 0 #5 November 13, 2007 Dude. I'm telling you. They cost the same, and at least you get pickles with the former. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
PLFXpert 0 #6 November 13, 2007 Pickles last a long time. Just pour all the pickles & juice into one super-large container and store in fridge. You can present them to friends when they come over. The perfect party favor! Everyone loves a pickle. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Nightingale 0 #10 November 14, 2007 You can usually get jars in the canning/baking aisle of the grocery store. They come in 10-20 packs.

skymama 35 #18 November 14, 2007 I am so surprised you were not able to find canning jars at this time of year, a lot of people use them to make gifts. Keep looking, it sounds like that is definitely what you need and they've got to be around somewhere. Do you have a Jo-Ann Fabrics nearby? And, I hate to say this but Normiss is right...a little bit of holiday fabric cut with pinking shears and then add some ribbon and you'll dress up the jar real cute-like.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

davedlg 0 #21 November 14, 2007 If that doesn't work, try Ace Hardware. Sounds weird, but they always have a huge number of them at the one by my house (Lakewood).
