Another one of these talks with my nutty coworker.

He told me that they should give prizes at my weight loss group for the most lost in a week. I say that would be unfair because it's easier for someone with 100 lbs to lose to lose weight than someone who has 30. I would never win becaues my weight loss is on a smaller scale.

He's trying to tell me the woman with 100+ lbs needs more encouragement than I do. He says she could die from being that overweight.

While I agree she might have more urgency to lose weight than I do; I disagree that she should get more encouragement than me.

I struggle daily just as I'm sure she does.

What do you think? Who should get more encouragement?

:S I'm still a bit confused....but ......
ummmm well all of you, it is a support group right?

but yes I see how you might even have to work harder for less. but sounds like you all need the same support for the same type of goal.

sorry if I was no help.

As you can see from my recent photo, I am a psychology major- and I think this guy likes you and is trying to psychologize you into becoming dependent on him for information pertaining to your self esteem- its a common ploy. But thats just my professional opinion.......Uh, can I have your phone #?:|

I Kidd

anyway- what kind of prizes does he think would be worthwhile if there was such an arrangement?

You both should be encouraged but she should get more of it.

Gift certificates to a nice restaurant would be a nice gift
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
