Happy sky birthday to me!!

Woo-hoo!! Today is my birthday!!
It's also the anniversary of my first skydive. I can't believe it was 4 years ago today I did my first tandem. It took me awhile to finish AFP, and I definitely had some bumps along the way, but I'm still here. I never would've thought in a million years.

Some highlights -

*Landing w/o radio in the corn on my 1st AFP
*Landing downwind on jump #10 and tearing my MCL (out 8 months)
*Horseshoe mal out the door on jump #52 (not fun)
*Getting dragged down the runway on a windy day causing friction burns all over my harness (REALLY not fun)

And now the good -

*Sunset cross-country (so awesome)
*Jet Jump (surreal)
*My first 10-way (I got to my slot!)
*Several fun hybrids
*Jumping with my 4-way team (we totally suck, but it's so damn fun)

What a ride it's been....

Here's to the next 4 years in this awesome sport!
